Ok, I have to stop now... but I don't want to! I'm having a great time. THe story is sucking me in. Like I said, its so refreshing because its so far from your typical fan fic. It kinda makes me want to try writing an AU story. I don't know that I could do fantsay, I'm not that creative, but I'm really enjoying reading yours! I'm looking forward to picking back up tomorrow. Hopefully I will get some time. -lol- lots to do. Till then!

Take as much time as you need, there's really no hurry. :) Well, it's about sevenish chapters from being done... Ish, because I'm almost done with my next update, so... You may end up having to wait for updates. I try to update as much as I can, but school often bars me from doing so. :(

I loved how you described the barrier. I could litterally picture the power and force Brian had against Justin. Well done there! Oh, and that whole part about Nick being a fallen angel and not quite demon/nor human... I like that. I think it makes a lot of sense to me why he is so different from the others. I have been wondering this whole time why Nick was so naive. Howie and Brian seem to know a LOT more than he does, but if he is supposed to be different, then that would explain it. That would also explain why Minako might feel differently toward him. Why she can love him. Why she can feel what's in his heart. He had the heart of an angel. Great stuff! This story is so different, it's really refreshing!
Author's Response: Good. I wanted it to be like that, a battle of wills.
Well, Nick being a fallen angel will come into play later... It's actually a big theme throughout the story. ;) As to the reason Howie and Brian know a lot more than Nick, that will be revealed later as well. :D

ewe gross! -lol this was an exciting chapter. Action packed! Seriously I think I could smell it myself. I feel really bad for both Minako and Renee. obviously we're supposed to feel badly for Minako, but Renee was obviously pretty hurt about something too. Misunderstandings can be a bitch huh? But, I suppose it is their fate and fate is often tradgic. So, Justin? are the Emerald demons N*SYNC? haha, like the enemy? I'm curious to find out Renee's side of the story. She's obviously heard a different perspective of the same tale. That's a good thing though because it keeps you wanting to read.
Author's Response: Good. I hoped you could smell it. In fantasy, and in ther genres too actually, imagery and making the audience feel a part of the story is the main goal. :)
Well, Renee's story will come out later, it does in spurts. :) So she gets about equal face time... Well, okay, she gets less, but she tries.
And yes, the Emeraudenord demons are NSYNC. :) Perhaps you can guess who the Rubisnord and Topasud demons are as well. :)

Hey Dee! So I've finally gotten back around to reading again!!! God, I feel like my life's been a whirlwind this whole month... Anyway, This was a good chapter, important in the Nick,Minako relationship. However, when Minako said she was falling in love, my very first instinct was, "isn't it a little soon?" but then I thought about it and changed my mind. I think I wasn't expeting her to just out and say it like that but I did understand where the feelings came from.
But! Nicks cold harsh response? I could understand him saying that if he were scared or still just jealous, that would make sence. And maybe that's why he acted the way he did, but when I read it, it came across that he was 100 percent serious and that he honestly had no feelings for her at all; that he really was just using her all this time. I didn't see any conflict within him at all. If that's the case, then that works but after everything I've read so far I have a hard time believing that. I guess I could be jumping ahead of my self here. Hopefully his reasoning comes out in the next chapter. ...lets go see shall we? I'm excited to see what happens next!

Oh yeah, Does Howie look human? I assume he does. He was the one that told us demons could hide there demonic features right? That must mean he knows how to do it.

These last 2 chapters really flew by. The legend is very interesting. Did you completely make that up yourself or is it based on something? Real mythology? So, I am wondering at this point, is Minako human then or something else? The people in the city are referred to as human but Minako is from another world. Do the people of this world consider her human? And her powers, is that because she is a priestess? She obviously doesn’t know about them but does Nick? One interesting thing, I don't know that it really matters, but when we met Nick, somehow when you described him, I knew it was going to be him. But when you revealed Howie, for some reason I was thinking it was going to be Brian. Not sure why. Oh, and I'm glad that Nick and Minako are both a little annoyed that Howie keeps refering to himself as if her were more than one person, because I keep thinking the same thing. I hope we get an explanation for it (I'm sure we will) But I like it because it shows a hint of personality and lightens the mood just a tiny bit. Not too much, which is good, but a tiny little bit. I like that.

Hmmmm... The "We" thing is something I never gave an explanation on, unfortunately. It's just the idea that as king, Howie speaks on behalf of himself and his people, hence "We." It's just an obscurity of rank. :) And I'm glad you think it lightens the mood. :)

The very last sentence of chapter four really stood out to me. When you said that hope was glass. For some reason I think that’s beautiful. I’ve never looked at it quite like that but somehow that one simple description put all of chapter 4 into perspective for me. Loved it.
Then in chapter five, excellent job taking us from the darkness to the light. The way its described gives the reader a sense of walking along with the characters and we’re discovering this land along with them. The more steps we took the brighter the picture became. I love how you slowly introduced more color into the picture as we got further away from the darkness and into the city. I think chapter five was excellent all together. It really captured my attention and I really did find myself lost in this dream world with them.
Then at the end of the chapter when Minako begins to glow I am a little confused as to what’s going on there, but I think it’s in a good way. I think the reader I supposed to be a little confused there. That’s what makes us want to read the next chapter. So good job there too. Ok, all good things to say this time, but that should be a good thing right?
