omg!!! i so loved this chappie, it was so cute and finally Nick's recovering; and it also had its funny parts like "...but what hurt more than anything now were his ears" hahaha. But i def loved more the ending of it, the whole "marry me" thing and the fact that she hid the cereal inside the jell-o bowl, awww and you can tell how bad they really love each other. I say it again, i so loved this chappie, all of it, awesome job there girl :D

I haven't left you a review on this story forever because I've been reading it on your site, but after the last few chapters I definitel had to stop and leave you a review Julie. The past few chapters have been amazing to say the least. You had me literally in tears on the edge of my seat praying right along with Claire that Nick pulled through. I knew he would because that woud be SOOO messed up for him to survive cancer, but die in a car accident.
It's really funny how fate worked out with the whole leg thing. Choosing to have the amputation was extremely difficult for Nick and he had a really hard time accepting it yet years later it turned out to actually save his life! And its completely true what Drew said. If he had somehow managed to survive the crash they'd have probably had to amputate his leg anyway. Life works in mysterious ways like that I guess.
And yay they're getting married! It's kind of sad that it took something like this to really open up Claire's eyes and force her to get her head out of her ass, but I'm glad she realizes now that life is precious and you have to live in the moment. And so cute that they got engaged again in a hospital. Sad but true, but there is where most of their most memorable moments took place.
Hopefully Nick recovers without any further complicatons. He kind of scares me because he's like a freakin cat. He should have been dead like a billion times already. I always am scared that he's finally run out of lives.
Awesome work and I'm anxiously awaiting more! I love this story and its been SUCH a huge inspiration to me!
Author's Response: Thank you SO much for the amazing review, Mel! LOL I know, that would be so effed up to kill him like that after EVERYTHING else I've put him through. I kinda figured that even if I made it suspenseful, most people would know I wouldn't do that. I like happy endings. ;) I almost thought I shouldn't even do the car accident stuff at all because it seemed like too much, but it's been planned as sort of the big climactic moment since before I started writing the story. I thought of it back when I was still on kind of a guilt trip about chopping off his leg, so it was like my way of making it "meant to be." And also, I think Claire needed an experience like that to make her wake up and remember to live in the moment, like you said, and just go with her heart. LMAO at Nick being like a cat... sadly, it's so true LOL. =P Thanks again for all of your comments - I really appreciate the feedback!! :)

Good chappie, I just got back from holidays so i read the new chappies til now. I'm glad that Nic has woken up for a few moments, i hope he get better very soon and that there's no long term damage, he's been through a lot and that's def enough. It's great that Alex and Howie made it there. Now he has to hold onto Claire's words 'just hang in there'. Don't leave us hanging for to long ;)

Gosh, Julie. This is one hell of a way to start the last four chapters of the story! Gah. I'm going to die of anxiety by the time you decide to finish it LOL Anyway, great chapter! It's nice to have the guys back in it towards the end, the way they were there for Nick at the beginning of Broken. In a hospital, sure, but it's a nice little cycle. I'm glad Nick woke up too, and that Jamie doesn't seem like any threat at all to Claire and Nick. Hurry up and update again soon!
