This one was hilarious, with him and his freezing balls. Him being in such danger, and worrying about what he other word to call them. Hum...so now we have some of the background of Gunter and we know Nick has powers. Damn I'm starting to fall asleep again, but I want to read more...darn it. Very nice work!

This is perhaps the most incredible chapter yet, and I feel sufficiently cooled by its icy chill. The danger and the real peril, brought to terror in the eyes of Nick and the child... wow. Emotional investment locked and sealed.

first off...YAY! you updated! i'm so excited because i was just thinking, the other day, about where you'd disappeared off to because this story was just getting to the really interesting parts...or so it seems. And it is! I loved the parts about his balls as it made me chuckle. Also, I'm really curious now as to what Nick's powers are. But, I'm sure that, too, will come with time. I'm glad you explained why it was that everything had been empty in that town...I feel like, even though everything's starting to make more sense, there's still so much more that still needs to be explored...So don't leave us hanging on the updates!

Wow....that was really crazy. I'm glad they made it out of the river okay. I liked the "balls" bit though, it made me laugh lol. Anywho, I am SOOOO glad you updated this, I missed it so much =) Can't wait for more!
