first off...YAY! you updated! i'm so excited because i was just thinking, the other day, about where you'd disappeared off to because this story was just getting to the really interesting parts...or so it seems. And it is! I loved the parts about his balls as it made me chuckle. Also, I'm really curious now as to what Nick's powers are. But, I'm sure that, too, will come with time. I'm glad you explained why it was that everything had been empty in that town...I feel like, even though everything's starting to make more sense, there's still so much more that still needs to be explored...So don't leave us hanging on the updates!

I am intrigued, and that's the short way of complimenting you. This storyline is superb. I love the way you're characterizing Nick. The way that his memories are coming back to him reminds me a lot of myself, and it's an interesting process to watch him go through. I'm not very good at guessing twists in plot, so this is a rocky water slide kind of experience for me. I'm loving it, and I can't wait for more.

Sorry i haven't left a review for you since the beginning, especially after all the awesome reviews you left me on UMS. Well, I finally got all caught up and wheww! This story is DEFINITELY not something I normally read, but you know what? You have me hooked! Usually fantasy is SOOO hard for me to grasp, but you have so many interesting elements going on. If you need help ironing out those "logistic" problems I'd be honored to give you a hand!

ok, the creepy factor was (on a scale of 1 to 10) 23.5 for the odd shapes that moved away from the fire. i'm glad nick keeps his wits about him, though. and, yay, they're in "greener pastures" so whoo-hoo for them!

oooh! Gunter's got some great enemies! i kinda figured he'd killed Lene's parents, but it's gotta be awful for her to hear she's trusted that man who ruined her family. i hope they get to nightingale hill alright! this story is fabulous and different, and i love it! keep up the great work!
