Oh gosh, this story literally brings tears to my eyes. It's so sad. Is she going to die? I just noticed that it said 'Death' on it on what kind of story it is. I'm so glad that Shelby had kept Nick apart of Lanie's life. Nick is just..ahh.
Author's Response: Aw, I'm glad you're hooked on it and enjoying it. It is sad, but I think it's enjoyable. I'm going to be completely honest with you. I have no idea where I'm taking the story right now. I go through phases where at one moment I plan that she's going to die, and the next I'm not so sure. So...I would make it a surprise no matter what, but at this point, I don't even know what I want yet, lol. Keep reading & reviewing!!

I have been reading this story since the beginning, but this is the first time that I have posted a comment. I absolutely love where you are going with this story, and I think that you should continue with it instead of making it a sequel. The pain that Lanie is going through is unbearable for any parent to go through, but it is nice seeing Nick and Shelby bonding together through that. And I like how Lanie is being the little instigator trying to help push her parents together.

that was a really great chapter, i think you should make it into a long story but a sequel would be cool to, but i would stick to a longer story. that poor little girl, so sad.
