Oh gosh, I just got caught up with the few chapters I had missed recently. Awe, I have tears in my eyes from these past chapters. Lanie's hair started falling out. The conversation between Shelby and Nick after Nick closed the door to Lanie's room was so heartbreaking for me. It was more of a love for her being the mother to his daughter at the moment, although, I do belive it is more than that.
Oh my, 104.5? That's crazy. She definitely has to go if its over 104. I hope that she'll be okay. I thought it was great to see that she went to Nick because she didn't feel good. Please write more of this as soon as possible. I want to know if everything will be okay with Lanie.

I'm glad you got all caught up! I love coming back from being away for a few days and seeing one of my favorite stories has been updated. It gives me something to do, lol. I'm glad you enjoyed the conversation between Shelby and Nick. I wrote it to try and make it a highlight of the chapter, even though it was a simple meeting in the hallway. It had a lot of significant meaning behind it.
