Geeze, im really starting to slack with my reviews; i coulda sworn i reviewed but it turned out i didnt lol. Loved it. Loved it loved it loved it. And I third the idea for a companion piece, you know, sorta like why id do it all again in the sense of all points of view (except for nicky obviously lol) throughout the time he is....you know ;) (dont wanna ruin it for those who didnt read it yet)

you make me miss SW, im going to have to visit that fic again. I love this prequel, I've wondered what the actual situation was when i found out the real deal at the end of SW and this kind of give me a closure for it. Now a companion piece would be awesome too! hehe

Your story... the way you write, is as real as it gets. Once again, I could actually envision everything, your words painted a picture and it played out so perfectly within my mind. I started to chuckle with the way Kevin was acting, because it reminded me of myself in so many ways. When I'm busy with something in my room, and my brothers come to bother me, I just snap. Lol. It's crazy, I literally saw myself within Kevin. And the way you make Kevin change from snappy, to sarcastic/humorous, to the big brother/father role is completely amazing!! You did a damn good job on this prequel Mare!! =)

Oye vey. What is wrong with Nick!?!?!?! Poor Nicky!!!!!!! He's only about 14-16 in this, right? I can't remember if I read Shadow Woods or not - lol.
By the way: The *three* of us just stood there, helpless as someone finally led us to a waiting room. - shouldn't it be 'the four of us'?

okay mare, when i read the part nick calling kevin dad was quite sad and it's like punch me right there girl! what the hell, okay what in heaven is wrong with nick? yesh, i can understand the kind of guilt-trip kevin has coz i've been there before... great and suspense plot to start with.
