Oh my heart is just racing! I briefly wondered if I should just wait until the story is finished before reading the rest of it. It's a rush every time I open my e-mail and see "Update to favorites at Absolute Chaos". I can't wait!
Author's Response: Haha I get really impatient like that too. Especially with this one. I just find myself anxious to be done writing it already so that I can read the end. I'm thrilled (and I'm sure Sarah is too) that you get so excited over this story! We'll try to keep them coming as fast as we can.

oye vey. at least she just thinks she was thinking about him and didnt realize it was him. loved the danger scene, those are like, my favorite parts of any story :D and yay for them finally together!
Author's Response: lol thanks. I worked really hard on that scene. I love that this is a total romance and I can be my fluffy self, and yet I still get to have a little suspense in there. Seriously, Sarah and I are just having a blast with this story. I'm glad that you are enjoying it too!

Well, I just have one thing to say in response to this chapter. What were you so afraid of? That was an AWESOME way to follow behind Sarah's last chapter.
Ok. I lied. I have more than just one thing to say. I'm glad that they are "together" for the time being, but I am anxious to see what happens when Mac really DOES find out that the AA has been Brian all along.
And I must admit, I've had a sneaking suspecion that the AA was kind of corrupting Brian for awhile now. The way you described his feelings on power and justice - it kind of felt like the AA was taking over his thoughts.
Great job, as always. Keep up the good work, you two!
Author's Response: LOL are you kidding? I was (am) so nervous. Sarah's kiss was so HOT! Then I was supposed to follow that with *blushes* the first "sex scene" I've ever written. LMAO I was squeamish writing it and it was still barely PG-13 and a fade to black kind of thing. Then I had to write an attack scene, which are always difficult. I was soooooooooooo nervous writing this chapter. But I'm really glad you liked it. Hearing you say that is like a giant weight off. lol. And I'm really glad you're making that connection with Brian and The Avenging Angel. Sarah and I both really like that aspect of the story. How he struggles with it and all... anyhoo thanks again!

YES! It's about time! I was getting a little frustrated with Brian myself. I'm surprised Mac was able to hold back her anger for so long. But hey, I can't be too mad because it led to that kiss.
I can't wait to read the next chapter. This story is rapidly becoming one of my favorite stories. Keep up the great work.

Author's Response: Thanks Amy!! That's quite the compliment. I'm glad that we've been able to keep your interest. You should have seen us when we came up with the idea for Brian as a Batman type... (Sarah's a genius, I don't know what I'd do without her.) Sarah totally said this crazy idea of Brian as a superhero, like she was completely joking, and then there was a conversation about Brian in spandex and the next thing you know? In The Shadows was born! lol we're totally having a blast with this so we're totally excited to see that there are others having fun with it as well!!! Thanks again Amy!!
