LOL, I'd forgotten about the baton! That's too funny. I could see Nick keeping a baton at his bedside to protect himself from intruders in the night. haha.
And I love how Ariel's such a little matchmaker in this chapter. It's one of the reasons I love when kids are in stories. It makes it so much more fun sometimes. :D
