The title of this one attracted my attention, and I thought it was great, Mare! So many of the situations poor Lima had to go through in a single school day are things that I and probably most girls could relate to... dealing with the popular girls... the hot guy who can smile at you and make your whole day even though you know you have no chance with him... the fear that you're gonna bleed through your pants before you can take care of it, or that you smell cause you're sweating so bad LOL. What a nice little nostalgia trip back to high school there. =P

The end, though... wow. I wasn't expecting it to end that way. I thought it was really sad, but I liked it because it was deep, and it was unexpected. Fantastic job!!

Author's Response: Aww thanks julie! I do tend to turn this into a larger piece at one point. I'm glad she seeemd realistic, Lima made me revisit my old high school days. lol

awwww i remember this! it always bring me back to Mel's Tree :D And this one has a solitary mood to it, a POV of a person that is so removed from everybody else yet he's there (i keep reading this as Nick but I dont think it's him, so gender aside...everything else abt this review is accurate and true, lol).

Mare! I loved this one so much! It reminds me of middle school for sure. All the emotions and Lima's thoughts were so like mine were at that time. I hope she did get to a happier place....

Author's Response: Aww thanks Sarah! I'm glad you liked it. I am hoping all of us can relate to Lima a bit.
