I really don't know how to tell you how much this story has touched me. I sit down to read it and I can feel all the joy, pain and heartache of every character involved. Leslie and Brian may have been the wrongdoers in all of this but the love they share is something only most people dream about. I hate LeighAnne for what she did but at the same time is understandable. I love your story and I cannot wait for the next update!

Okay I just started reading this story and I am all caught up now, within 2 days of reading,lol.
Anyway, this is the first story I've ever read that Nick doesn't get the girl; and I do have to say I like this story. When I first started reading this I didn't know what to expect, except I was hoping that things would change and that nick would get the girl.
I absolutely love love love the songs you used in chapter 12, I love them so much I d/l them and I listen to them when I read now.
I do like how you have this story going, except its been hard to picture Leighanne as a villan,lol. Also trying to see Brian trying to do something like this, especially to Nick! I really wish that things between Nick & Leslie would work, but I'm interested to see what you have up your sleeve.
Keep up with the updating, this is a great story you have!

I didn't start out trying to make Leighanne a villain in any way, but as the story progressed, I had to give somewhere because too many people were getting hurt, and I needed to add some spice and drama to Leslie and Brian's relationship. Leighanne was the cliche easy pick lol.

This chapter was super good! I just read it over again, and I have to say that I adored it! I know you tihnk Leigh came off as a bit of a bitch, but I think it was toally neccecary for her to have acted this way. I mean she was bitchy enough to lie about a pregnancy, so of course she's going to act really snarky with him on the phone. Plus, Brian wasn't exactly honest with her, so I think she's allowed to bitch at him lol. The part where Leigh starts to laugh when Brian asks about their child was particularly well written. Whenever someone laughs when they should be upset has always kind of scared me, and I could feel that fear and confusion which Brian was also feeling through your writing. So kudos to you for accomplishing that. Also, I really loved the ending. We hadn't heard much about how Leslie was coping, so it was nice to bring her it for that last little bit and see that she and Brian are still connected, even though they haven't spoken or seen each other in quite some time. I LOVE this story! You know that already, but of course I have to tell you again. You're an amazing writer, and a totally awesome friend. I can't wait for your next update :) Keep up the good work!

I'm glad you think it was necessary for Leigh to react that way. I was hoping there would be some understanding to why she went crazy! And it's awesome that you mention the part about Leigh laughing at Brian. I've had that happen to me a couple times in my life and it's confusing/humiliating/infuriating, so it makes me happy that it struck a chord. And yay for finally mentioning Leslie! There will be definitely more of her here soon.

Author's Response: You're right ALM, it would be the same outcome, but Brian believes that if it was handled in a more private setting, things wouldnt have gotten as bad as they have gotten. Maybe it could have been kept underwraps, maybe Leslie wouldn't have been fired... there's always room for improvement lol. And Brian and Nick are definitely going to talk soon. That's inevitable. I just don't want it to be too soon is all. And yes, Nick will found out about AJ... I haven't forgotten! Thanks so much ALM!! I'll update here soon!
