Awww Ashleigh. Poor girl. She really put her heart into that relationship didn't she? It was her first love, so of course it was all new to her. I can't blame her for being so heartbroken. I can't believe Nick would do something like that, but I'm glad he's making up for it now, even if it is, what, 8 years later? Lovely chapter! You did fabulous, as usual :)

It's so hard to write these flashback chapters, and they're kind of boring now because we already know how this part turns out.. but I just feel awful for Ashleigh.. and I hate putting her through this, but it must be so. It all worked out quite some time later, so that makes me feel a little better about torturing the poor girl now, heh. I was going to put some more jerkish Nick in this chapter, but I think I've written enough of that. Another update will be up soon! Thanks for reading Dani!!

Good lord woman, you're popping these chapters out left and right. Lovely update as usual. I really can't believe that after 2 months, Nick didn't develop ANY feelings for her. What a butthead.
