Aww OMG I can't believe that bastard went after Matilda! It's one ting to beat up on Shannon, but to beat up on Matilda just to piss her off... Not okay. I actually had to go back and reread the last chapter and now it finally makes sense. You're right... I think now Shannon finally realizes what needs to be done and hopefully Matilda doesn't pay the ultimate price.
And don't worry about hatemail... If people can't handle the cold hard reality of what happens in abusive relationships they're prolly better off living in their happy little plastic bubble.
Author's Response: I'm glad it made sense in the end. I really fought with myself over the last chapter and it nearly didn't end up that way but then it made the flow for the next part of the story really difficult, once you read it you'll understand why.rnrnThanks for the review!
