Awww, I'm glad Nick woke Ashleigh up to talk to her about his mom. After hearing all that, I would definitely understand him not wanting her there, so I'm glad they both came to an agreement over it. It's their wedding day - it deserves to be perfect. And I love how Ashleigh put in the invite to Kate that exfiancees don't count as a guest lmao
I love how Nick kept asking her to play Halo. God, Halo sucks. I played once and I could barely control myself. I could run just fine but when I had to aim and shoot, all hell broke loose. I kept finding myself in a corner shooting at the wall. I don't even know how many times I killed myself. I was playing with my friend Jon who has the whole online thing, so he had a headset talking to whoever it was we were playing with, and since we were on teams, and I sucked, they were yelling about how much I was bringing them down. It was hilarious lol But yeah... Mario Kart all the way!
And of course Ashleigh is picky with her wedding dress. Lord knows I would be too. I'm the most indecisive person in the world so it would take me forever.
I'm really excited for their wedding! These two are so perfect for each other. I was thinking the other day about the AC awards and I remember there being a category for best couple, and in my opinion, you would win that by far, among other awards of course :)
Can't wait to see what's next!
Author's Response: Yeah, Nick finally opened up to her, yay! I think it was important for him to tell her, just so that she fully understands his reasoning. And yeah it's definitely good that they agree on it, as they should about everything to do with their wedding. Haha as soon as I read your other review I knew you'd love Ashleigh's little note to Kate. I also really suck at Halo, and that sounds exactly like something that would happen to me. One time a bunch of us were playing another shooting game, and I actually thought I was doing rather well until Brent stabbed me... and told me he'd been following me around for 5 minutes without me noticing. Oops lol. I am in love with Mario Kart. It's the best game ever. (New one on Sunday, woot!) Yup, Ashleigh being picky on the dress completely makes sense. It makes me so happy that you think Ashleigh and Nick are good enough to win one of the AC awards. Seriously, that is super flattering because all of the authors that won awards are freaking amazing and it would be very stiff competition and yeah.. Thanks so much buddy! :D You rock my socks *muah*

Joey is an utterly amazing friend. I can see why Ashleigh badgered Nick about it just because she doesn't really know the entire story and because it is their wedding... you'd think you'd want both your parents there, but like Joey said, would you really want someone you don't exactly like there? lol And psh, I'd totally write on the invite not to invite Matt! I'm so evil...
And the whole bed scene with Nick and Ashleigh was sickenly cute like usual. I was actually wondering (even from the first story) when the whole virginity thing would pop up. It's funny that it took her this long to tell him, but it definitely is sweet how Nick reacted to it. God, I love these two.

She does have a freakishly good memory. But I like the idea behind that wedding date - it's subtle yet very sweet. So uh, I hope you're not planning on wrapping this story up anytime soon cause with the wedding a year from now, I'm guessing a whole lot of shit is going to go down before then right? Riiiiiiight?
