aaa, I love that feeling. The one where you just have to stop what you're doing RIGHT NOW so that you can go write something down. I was glad to see an update for this. Not normally the type of story line I read, but this one has me sucked in for some reason. Oh, and I can totally see Nick constantly being suckered by his precious little girl all the time. Lord help that man if he ever has kids of his own.

affairs are just plain old bad news... *I shudder to think* Anyway, first of all, this is so well written! It feels so realistic and is so full of emotion. You've done so well at letting us see the situation through Nick's eyes, that his actions are almost justifiable. (almost... lol cheating is like my neumero uno no-no!) But I just have so much pity for all three of them. Each just doing the best they can, and all sort of screwing up. Seriously, this is a great story and I am very curious to see where you are taking it. Things can only get more complicated from here on out. You've also grasped the concept of a stay home parent extremely well. All those thoughts of loneliness, insecurity, uselessness, frustration because it's a tedious, thankless job... Mad props there. Such is a tiny piece of my life every single day. I'm actually in a great marriage now, but there was a time, not that I ever had an affair, but I did have my suitcases packed on more than one occasion, so reading this story it's almost like I'm reading about me, and what my life could have turned into if I'd chosen that route. It makes me appreciate my decisions even more. Ok, sorry, I'll stop gushing over your story now, but seriously, I'm honestly completely caught up in it now, so you must continue on a timely fashion with the updates. And, yes, someone did die and make me the update police! I love it hun! Keep up the BRILLIANT work!

Oh, my goodness. It's so beautifully tragic. You know you've got a great start when you can nearly put me to tears with the first chapter. But then,been there, done that. I can relate, so maybe it just hits home a little. Either way, wonderful start!

Okay, so that's kind of creepy. I found the beginning of this normal with Nick having sex dreams of Alaina, but then she actually shows up. That's like freaking stalking him and she seemed weird when they talked? And then Holly's acting weird too. It makes me wonder if Holly and Alaina know each other and Holly and her planned this out. Just to see what Nick would do and such. I'm interested to see what's going to happen next, so I hope that you'll write more as soon as possible. Great job with this chapter.
