Aw Kristal! What a great ending to a GREAT story. I know I told you this over AIM, but you should definitely be proud of this. You have grown so much as a writer over the course of this story, and the characters have grown with you. Baylee is so much more insightful than the brat he was at the beginning, lol. Great, GREAT story, hun! I loved how you brought it full circle with how at the beginning, Baylee didn't even call him "Nick" but just "my guardian" and last chapter he said he was worried he'd slip up and call him "dad" FABULOUS! So much love.

Can I just tell you how much I LOVE Baylee and Nick? They have grown so much over the course of the story. I loved Nick finally breaking down and telling Baylee how hard everything was for him. Having to lose his best friend and suddenly take custody of his son could not have been easy. This was a really good chapter! They seem to have a new respect for each other.

Poor Baylee.. teenage years are rough as it is so having to deal with the fact that his parent died must be torture. No wonder he finally blew up. And Nick is just wonderful, listening to him rant and offering his advice. Aw Nicky is all grown up, lol. Great chapter hun!!

Awww poor Baylee. That dream sounded rough. I liked how he was able to go to Nick for comfort though. That was really sweet.

What a great chap! I'm glad that Nick was able to break down a bit and I'm glad that Baylee was there to comfort him. Love the last section with Baylee admitting his fear of Nick replacing his dad. They probably should have had this talk awhile ago. Hope you can update soon!!
