Rachel's comment about the Beatles made me laugh, because when Nick was saying that people would speculate she was the reason he was leaving the group, I couldn't help but think of Yoko, haha. Seriously though, I'm really glad Rachel and Nick found each other. It's important to have support in your life from a good friend. I hope things continue to go well between them. It's too bad that things between Nick and Brian have changed so much. You can tell that you used to have a really good relationship, and as they got older things changed quite a bit. Nick's comment about Howie buying a new house every other month made me giggle. This was a great chapter, on to the next one!

The more I read, the more I like Rachel. It's obvious she's just looking to have a platonic relationship with someone who understands her. I was pretty annoyed with Brian in this chapter. Hoping Nick gets an STD? Yeah, that's real mature buddy. Yeesh! Kudos to Rachel for keeping her composure though, and I loved her little comment to AJ and Brian later on! Great chapter, Kelly!

It's really adorable how excited Nick got over Rachel being able to go to the awards with him. A nice change from how distraught he was at the beginning of the story. It kind of sucks how the other guys were annoyed with him, but I can sort of understand it since he was gone for so long without contacting any of them. I really love your writing, Kelly! It flows so well and you make it seem to effortless. Great job!

I really like Rachel, I'm curious to read more about her character. She sounds like she's got an interesting back story. I can't imagine being a single mother, that seems like it would be crazy difficult. Seems like she and Nick have a lot of things in common. I'm excited to see where this goes, great job Kelly!

So, a long boring work day is ahead of me and what do I plan to do? Read this story! I loved the first chapter, Kelly. It set the tone of the story really nicely and I'm really excited to read what's next. I feel pretty bad for poor Nickers though, being subject to so much media scrutiny on account of the whole Paris fiasco. That had to be rough. On to the next chapter!

Such a great and heartfelt story! I really love it and hope to see updates coming frequently!
I do hope that Nick manage to work everything out with Rachel, the guys and most of all himself. I think it's sad that he' s contemplating leaving the BSB, yet I understand. However, I think he should give it a chance, and realize that the guys and the lifestyle is not the only ones to blame. The way Nick's been acting probably has a lot to do with it as well -- Kevin pretty much explained it when he picked Nick up for the BBQ. Nick needs to change he's outlook on life to ever be able to live a happy life, famous or not. Like when he arrived early to a meeting and calling Brian. He needs to give it that extra inch, and I'm positive it'll come back to him positively -- And I'm sure Rachel and Spencer will be there for the ride and help him find himself and his confidence again.

Author's Response: Aww, why thank you Kris. there are actually I think 12 chapters written already, but I've kind of been rereading over it since I started posting it, so the other chapters might have to wait a few days. I admittedly am always pretty slow with the new updates for this one, but I'll try to do better in the future with it. I'm actually working on it today, so Yay! I'm glad you like it so much. It's kind of a sad story, but sweet at the same time. I love to see all the emotion, I just never feel I'm really good at writing it. So ay others do it so much better, so its always nice to hear someone likes it. Thanks again for reading along!
