Hmmm...I hardly think Nick is to blame for the way Adie is feeling at this time. He hid his feelings from her about the whole thing out of concern he'd hurt her even more than she is already. He actually is taking her feelings into consideration. Can't say that Adie is doing the same for Nick. He lost a child too, yet that doesn't seem to be a big concern to Adie. The pattern of withdrawing into herself is going to bite her back in the butt BIG time. I feel that Nick is bending over backwards & trying to get her to come to terms with this whole situation and all she can do is find fault with the way he's handling things? Uhh uhh, Adie, that ain't right. By the time she figures out what she's done, Nick will be nuthin but a shell of himself. Who's she gonna blame then? ;o)
Author's Response: You are totally right, the only reason he his his feelings was to protect her, yet she doesn't see that because she is too focused on herself to realise. She is being incredibly bllind to his pain but she will realise and she will have to live with the way she treated him. It is going to haunt her for a while. Thanks for the review hun x

Okay its official this is by far the best chapter of your story! It is filled with so much emotion and heart it is amazing!!
The way you wrote this chapter is astounding! I still don't like Adie right now, given the circumstance she is allowed to grieve and be upset but for her to completely withdraw and pull away from Nick is pissing me off, that's all she ever seems to do. I understand she is in pain but so is everyone else, especially Nick and he even told her that; but yet again she refuses to see anyone else's problems but her own. Apparently no one knows how she feels or what she is going through, obviously no one can relate to her or be there for her. At least that's the way I am perceiving Adie.
Honestly I'm glad she walked out and I am SUPER SUPER proud of Nick for giving her that option (as hard as it was), Nick needs to focus on himself and his emotions and he doesn't need to deal with her and her childish ways right now. He tried to help her but again she refused him and shut down. It goes to show you that Adie hasn't grown up because if she had she wouldn't run anymore no matter how hard the situation is. For right now I say "good riddance" to Adie because I am just over her character,lol. I know she loves Nick and I know Nick loves her too but for once Nick can't & shouldn't have to fight for the relationship. Adie needs to do it at some point, she needs to prove her love for Nick.
My favorite part in this chapter was by far the argument scenes. I loved how Rachel just fired right back at her and honestly Adie did deserve it. She needs to wake up and face reality instead of always running away and pointing blame at other people when in actuality its her that is to blame.
You are on a roll with these updates and I love it!!!! I just hope you can continue with updating as often as you are. Keep up the good work!!

I am totally with you on the whole Adie wollowing in her own misery trip! She needs a bit of a reality check and trust me it's not far away. People cope with grief differently but in Adie's case she isn't coping she is just exsisting, and being a completely closed off cow whilst doing it. She will realise I promise!
I think Nick is at his wits end with what to do to be able to help her and the next chapter will highlight that topic some more. He loves her, he knows she is hurting because he shares that pain but instead of dealing with his own he is dealing with hers as well. There is no support there for him and he really needs it too. He definetly needs to focus in himself for a bit and I think that was why he gace her the ultimatmum. He will regret it though and you will see him battle with himself over that decision in the next chapter, even though he shouldnt.

Ok after watching this weeks greys anatomy and then reading this i don't think i have any tears left for now. man. this chapter was heartbreaking. i feel for adie, i really do but nick is going through the same thing. i really do wonder if they'll come back from this and how you'll go about it. i want a happy ending but they can only take so much heartbreak.

Author's Response: You are the first person who feels for Adie so thank you! I didnt really set out for her to be the villan but I understand why people feel the way they do towards her. She's just a bit too focused on her own pain, it just hurts too much for her to realise that Nick is hurting just as much as she is. Maybe he is partly to blame for that too because he already told her he was hiding his emotions to protect her. Thanks for the review!

Arghhhh she frustrates me so much! Damnnit!!!!!!!!! I litterly cussed out the computer when she dumped him. I can see where Nick is coming from and she is being selfish...maybe he should leave her and give her a taste of his own medicine! I am sick of her attitude and her only thinking about herself!

People do tend to act differently in situations like these, Adie has always been known to run from her problems so it makes sense that she has run from Nick because being with him is just a constant reminder of what they lost.
