OK...where to start.  I love Nick in this chapter.  I'm glad he didn't go after her, and I think he is playing this right by hanging back and letting her come to him for a change.  I really believe that part of Adie's ability to leave him is that she feels like she can always come back.  Her conversation with Rachel here was HUGE because of that, for the first time, it forced Adie to consider the fact that Nick wouldn't always be there for her.  Which is ironic if you flip back to the beginning of the story where Nick was Mr. Emotionally-Unavailable (or so Adie thought)...however, I think that it has never been about whether or not he loved her, it has been about Adie getting her way.

Now for a little Adie, there is going to be a little bashing (sorry)...I love the way she got defensive and began questioning the doctor.  She is a professional, and I think seeing her Dad in that bed and wondering about his treatment plan was totally justified behavior since she is a nurse.  With that sad, I did not like the way it flipped and became all about her once again when her Dad had to comfort her when he is laying in a hospital bed.  As a Dad, I understand that he wanted to step up and comfort her, but she should've said "no, this is about you, you just had a heart attack".  But, by the same token, it was the first time that she really showed any emotion, positive coping with anything that has happened with Molly.  So...good/bad...I'm not sure, I was just a little put off by the fact that once again it was all about Adie, even though it is showing some progress.

Great update, you are such a stud....always on it!  I am feeling very inspired myself and hope to get some writing done this week myself!  Hugs!

Awesome review hun! Glad that you liked Nick in this chapter, you are definetly going to like him in about two chapters! You completely hit the nail on the head about Adie always feeling that she has Nick to come back to. He is her constant or what she thought was her constant, Rachel has now planted the seed that is going to make her question everything.

Don't worry about the whole flipping from pissed of daughter/nurse to emotional nuerotic daughter. Someone is going to point her selfishness out to her very soon, she is going to realise a lot about herself from the not so nice home truths that get shared. Big things are going to happen shortly! I'd say we have about ten more chapters of this story left! Maybe a few more!

Yay I'm happy that you updated. Honestly this chapter wasn't the greatest to read. I only say that because it's what I call a "filler". Its the type that has to be put in to make sense of the whole situation, it puts pieces together that we didn't see before.

I was surprised that you chose to use her father as the victim. I honestly didn't see that one coming, I was kinda disappointed. I did like how you ended it though, it was that her daddy was there for her (even though he's the one in the hospital lol)I'm glad he helped her realize what she is truly feeling. I hope she does run after Nick. I can't wait to see what happens.

Speaking of Nick, we didn't get much of him in this chapter, which was kinda sad but it tends to happen. I'm glad he was there and I'm really proud of him for not talking and running to her. He needs to stand his ground and wait for her.

Now here is the true test, will Adie chase him or will she leave him alone? Well shall wait and see. Update soon!!

It was kind of a filler before we get to the really good stuff!

Who did you want to be the "victim?" His story seemed to fit, it was something she would definetly come home for, and within the next chapter the whole situation is going to make her realise something that she didn't realise the time before. You are just going to have to wait and see if she does go to Nick or not!

You were lucky to get any Nick in this chappie, his scene was a last minute add on! I'm glad I put it in though because it sets the scene for two chapters time! You will be getting a lot more Nick soon!

ah I can totally understand adie doing that with the resident. i prolly would try to take control in the situation too. ahh gosh she just needs to get her head on straight. cant wait for more!
