Great chapter, guys. I loved reading a little more of the Kevin/Nick backstory. I had assumed the two had known each other for some time, but to find out Kevin's parents are Nick's godparents was a nice tidbit. I'm looking forward to ending of this story and the beginning of the next story. I'm also anxious to read a little more of the backstory. Again, good job.

Nope his parents aren't dead. Remember this fic is set before what happened in 'An Ideal Marriage?' so it's about a year or two before the setting of that story. Yup, Kevin's parents are Nick's godparents.

Author's Response: I'm not sure.. either you missed something or we've missed something. Jerald and Cara Richardson are Kevin's parents and have known Nick since he was a child, both are very fond of Nick.

It excites me to read that you're going to be updating more frequently and that you've actually finished this one. And poor Nick with the headache, maybe Kevin will be coming over to help him out? lol Thanks for the update and can't wait for the rest!

I was just thinking to myself that HIAB hadn't been updated in a while....I need to e-mail CJ and J when I got the notice in my inbox about an update. Now, you know me....seeing that Nick has an headache, my mind would usually wander toward other scenarios. But, I'm not going to do that this time.....I'm just gonna accept it at face value. I have some empathy for Nick in this because this is usually how my migraines happen....they build from an headache. I'm usually popping Advils all day and praying that it doesn't become a migraine. I am looking forward to see if Kevin is comfortable enough in his relationship with Nick that he will come over to Nick's apartment.

Author's Response: What other scenarios? You've got me all curious now! Tell tell :) I based Nick's headache and migraine on my boyfriend's. He gets horrid ones quite frequently sometimes. I feel so bad for you guys who get bad headaches and migraines :( You know you've just given us a new idea.. have Kevin come with some TLC... maybe I can fit it into the next chapter somewhere.
