I love that Howie is evil! That is too funny. And that he has a twitching eye lol. I really liked the confrontation with Nick and Justin at the end. I feel so bad for Nick! I mean I felt bad for Justin too, but he's acting so ridiculous that it's hard to have sympathy for him. This chapter was really good!
Author's Response: Thanks! Dr. Rough is my absolute favorite character - it's just so fun to write sweet little Howie as this evil supervillain! LOL He has his own back story, though, as you'll see in future episodes. Glad you liked this part!

Ahh... So Justin is working for Howie? How funny that I can picture Howie being a bad guy in sort of a Dr. Evil kind of way. (By the way thought I'd break your chops by reminding you that you guys used one of your fan fic pet peeves by describing Howie's eyes as onyx LOL) I don't think we've met Emerald right? I've heard her mentioned, but I don't think she was formerly introduced right? I am loving the porn staresque names for the girls. Diamond Divine... Emerald Ectascy... That is just so full of win right there.
Author's Response: LOL Yeah, Howie is totally a spoof of Dr. Evil, who is a spoof of one of the Bond villains, Blofeld. He's my (Julie) favorite character - probably the first and only time I'll say that about Howie! LOL And about the onyx eyes - I KNOW!!! I was rerereading some of this yesterday in the course of responding to reviews, and that is one of several descriptions that gave me the idea for the pet peeve thread. (The onyx one happens to be mine, too, sadly.) Anyway... yeah, I believe this was the first appearance of Emerald in the story. We had fun coming up with the gemstone aliases... total pornstar names, yes LOL. Thanks again, Mel!!
