I have told you this like a million times, but I love the way you write first person...it is so realistic and it really sounds the way I know I think. You are very talented!
It just occurred to me that Dani has 3 men hot for her, she is extremely cool considering, obviously a little bit freaky because of the Nick situation, but still hanging tough.

Author's Response: Thanks Darby! I definitely have a lot of fun writing in first person! Yeah, Dani does have all these guy who want her, but I think her focus really is on Nick and what he wants. We'll have to see what happens though, she might surprise you! I agree, yay for hump day updates! I'm so excited to see that you updated as well! :)

Author's Response: Thanks mary! I couldn't think of how to end it, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with more randomness. And really, melty cheese solves everything haha. As for Nick figuring out his feelings.. we'll have to see about that ;) I'll try my best to update ASAP so you guys aren't left waiting like poor Dani!

So I read this chapter when you first posted it, and I could have sworn I left a review, but I don't see it in the comments, which is weird. I was writing and I thought of this story so I came back to read over a couple of chapters and you still haven't updated!!! BAH! I know you must be busy. I know how that goes lol But I loved this chapter. I love these characters. They're very personable, very endearing. I wish Nick would just figure his feelings out already. He's driving me crazy! I wonder how this date with Brian will go? Hopefully it's not too awkward. I forgot how much I adore this story. I hope you can update soon! This was wonderful... even the second time around ;) LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Author's Response: Aw thanks Dani! I am going to try to update this very soon. Actually, after our conversation last night I decided to open up the next chapter and I got quite a bit written. So I guess you inspired me :) I'm glad you like the characters, because as you know now they're (although very loosely) based on my friends and I. Was that a good idea? Probably not, but is nice that she's giving Brian a chance to atlest take her out to lunch. You never know what might happen. Plus I don't like the fact that she had to change herself, or her appearence to just call his attention, he should like her how she is. Please update soon; Take Care!!
Author's Response: Probably not the best idea, even if she is going to go to lunch with Brian, I don't think she'll be giving him a fair chance because her heart is set on Nick. But we'll see ;) Interesting point about Dani having to change herself to get Nick to notice her.. I guess we'll find out if it worked when we read Nick's thoughts next chapter.
