Oh my... I LOVED this chapter! Really really really really loved it! I loved how you wrote it as a stream of thought through Nick. I read this so quickly because of that. It just flowed from one sentence to the next. I felt like I was in his head hearing him babble on about Danica lol This was great! Poor guy. But you can't ignore the girl! Jesus. He's such a guy, it's ridiculous. I could definitely feel the awkwardness. Hopefully this doesn't push these two apart... GREAT CHAPTER Steph! Seriously. I enjoyed this. Update soon!
Author's Response: Awww I'm glad you liked it so much. I had a super fun time writing it, Nick is so random and off the wall haha. Hopefully he gets a clue soon, because ignoring her really isn't solving anything! We'll have to see what happens, because our Danica is getting impatient with his aloofness.. I'll try to update soon. I have a whole week off from school so I'm going to try to get some writing done! We'll see how it goes, thanks Dani! :)

*shudders* I could just sense the awkwardness. Poor Danica... I know how she feels, not with this situation obviously lol but with a guy you like that keeps giving you mixed signals and you don't know if you should talk to him about it or just take the plunge or what, it's confusing and frustrating!

Trust me, I write Danica's uncertainty with much experience! I've been so busy the last week studying for a huge exam, so I haven't had much online time. I will try to go on AIM more often though, I'm usually on during the day, or in the later evening. I miss chatting with you too, it's been too long!! And Danica's list for reasons not to date Nick is pretty extensive and significant, especially the monogamy part. If she knows he's incapable of being faithful, why even risk it? Hmm... would he change for her? Doubtful, but you never know. Either way, I can see that being an issue down the road for these two. Maybe it's wishful thinking but she could go flocking into the arms of an awaiting Brian... *happy dreamlike sigh* lol! Just kidding!
I really loved this chapter, especially the ending obviously ;) you're doing wonderful with this story Steph.
Author's Response: Yup, Dani's perspective of the kiss definitely was cute. She knows Nick pretty well, and she's already analyzing the relationship before it's even really started. You're right, all those things could definitely come up later and be an issue. Interesting theory about running to Brian....hmmmm! We will have to have some discussions on AIM about this ;) I do have two more stories planned for Nick and Danica after this one, so there is still a lot to come. *sigh* Drama galore! Dani playing with Nick's emotions and he was flat out blunt in the car. If I were Danica, I don't know how I would have responded. I didn't know she'd admit to it so freely. I probably would have played it cool and found out more before I admitted to liking him, so good for her. I wonder what this convo with Brian is going to be like...
And AJ, for the love of God! I love the fighting though :) It's too bad AJ's just thinking of the sex aspect, cause like Nick said, it's not all about that. Just goes to show that AJ thinks of Danica more as a piece of meat than a real romantic prospect... she's way better off with Nick in that regard. Onto the next chapter!

Author's Response: Playing it cool might have been the best idea for her since Nick isn't really sure where he stands with her. But our Danica doesn't always make the best decisions lol At least it's out in the open now, so the ball is in Nick's court. I like how you're all concerned about Brian hehe, don't worry he'll play a major role in things to come ;) AJ and Nick fighting was mucho fun to write!
