It does seem weird that a war can actually help people's carreers, or even their lives. I assume it's only logical for Riley though, she's a reporter after all. And it seems there's enough important stuff they call news happening.
Author's Response: It is but for some it can. Riley, she's not the most thoughtful person in the world. Her biggest flaw is that she thinks too much about her career and not enough about anything else. But she's right in the sense it's gonna boost her some more.

Ooohhh I think i'm gonna like Riley. And i personally loved how you added - "bridesmaid, never the bride". Small part of "song for the unloved. Hmm...I feel a spark between her and Kevin...I am so digging this story :D
Author's Response: Thanks! We obviously drew some inspiration from the song, based on the title. We tried to base some of the characters on the lyrics to an extent... some of them are more of a stretch than others. Thanks for continuing to read and review; we really appreciate the feedback! :)

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite stories to see updated. I'm glad you all update regularly. I love how you all are giving the run down on all the charachers. I can't wait to get to the "grit" of the story! You have a faithful reader here! Can't wait for the next update!
Author's Response: Thanks Jen!! =D I can tell you now that this pattern of daily updates won't last much longer, unfortunately LOL; we planned ahead so that we could post the first ten chapters back to back, since they are introductions to our characters. The real "grit" of the story will start after that. Hopefully we can keep updating regularly though, just not daily. Weekly would be nice. Anyway, I'm thrilled that you're reading it and glad you're enjoying it and appreciative of the feedback, as always! Thanks!!

Finally got to checking this one out cuz it REALLY sounded interesting and I am not disapointed. I love the insights and backgrounds to all the different characters and love the way that they are all coming from different backgrounds. It really does seem like a good sampling of America. I think I know where this is going though and if it is I am VERY excited! I had been tossing around an idea like this, but with all the characters it was overwhelming for me, so I can't wait to see what you do with this.
Oh yea and I already like completely identify with Gretchen LOL

It's cool that you gave it a chance and are enjoying it so far - we appreciate it! :) I know I could never manage a story like this on my own; it's the kind of story that works well as a collab because we can split the ten characters among three of us. You can probably guess who Gretchen's contribution was LOL. Write what you know, right? =P We did try to vary the backgrounds of our characters, while staying true to the Boys in an AU sense, and I'm glad it comes across as a good sampling. I'm sure it could be better, but it works for us. Anyway, I hope you keep reading, and thanks again for the nice review! :)
