First of all, I LOVE 'The Man Who Sold The World', awesome song!

This chapter was amazing, I'm so glad Nick went to get medication instead of just leaving Kev to die. I loved how he was singing Thriller after his mission had gone so well :)

Aw poor Riley, of course she had to show her soft side eventually. She must've been worried sick when he was gone. I just hope Kev gets better and they can set off back to the base.

Author's Response: So do I, Nirvana is awesome, enough said lol. Thank you so much! Neither of them could just leave Kevin to die, but Nick was the one who realized they didn't exactly have options. LOL And what else would he sing after a victory? As for Riley, yes, it was going to eventually happen, no one can be strong forever. Nick's definitely got an affect on her and the idea of him being going about destroyed her. :( Thanks Steph!

Oh noes! I really hope that Kevin will be okay. Sounds like a really nasty infection. I love Nick and Riley together...they're so sweet. I really like that we got to see Riley's vulnerable side. She's so strong that I think we forget that she has a hard time as well. Great chap :)

Author's Response: Kevin's not in a good place right now :(, life's harder in a zombie apocalypse. I'm glad everyone seems to like those two. I felt like Riley's softer side isn't shown as much, because she's not given a chance to, trying to always prove herself. But she does have her own issues, and the fact they were just building up so much finally caused her to crack. Thanks!
