Alright ladies... I'm FINALLY all caught up with the story!!! Sorry for being unable to review the chapters like I normally do as I go along... like I had said, I found myself reading the fic from my cell phone at work, making me unable to review the story! So I figured, why not finish with catching up and then just make a long, ole lovely review to send to ya'll! :D
First off, I'd just like to say that I'm sooo glad that Kevin, Riley and Nick finally made it back to the base! There was no doubt in my mind that they'd make it back, but my have they gone through some hellish things in the process! From almost losing Kevin, to Nick's seizure and Riley's close calls, as it was stated, it was truly a miracle that all three of them had made it back to Florida alive! I'm just glad they got back home safe! :)
Reading this chapter brought so much warm feelings within me. Christmas is my favorite time of year, so my heart simply ached for them missing their families and loved ones during a time like this! I'm truly glad that they're a tight family though, and I hope that nothing else bad happens to them, like losing another member. :( I love all this improvising of holiday meals and truly still trying to go on living life as normally as they can; Gabby surely needs that and it's nice to see all these different people with different backgrounds and characteristics living together and just... gelling in a sense.
I laughed when I read Gretchen and Riley going into the bathroom and coming across the zombie that was still in the stall. I swear, I love the way you ladies write Riley's badass-ness, and I honestly see a bit of myself in her! And oooh my, Gretchen is pregnant! What a nice twist! It's nice to know that they're "starting anew" and eventually they will need to "re-populate", lol, but as they've stated, it's really scary to have a baby during this zombie apocalyptic time, especially since they no longer have Jo! :(
Anywho ladies, I'm sooo glad to be finally caught up with the whole story and I seriously can't wait for the next update!! :D Great job ladies... simply great, and you know I can't say enough about this fic! Lol.
Author's Response: Woot, you're all caught up! Thanks for reading, and thanks for another amazing review! It felt really good to bring Kevin, Riley, and Nick back and get the whole group back together... well, minus two LOL. The fun of killing a couple of characters is that you never know when we might knock out another... no one's safe! Mwahaha! I think the hardest part of living like that would be missing all the old traditions, so it's important to them to celebrate holidays and make them special, to ease the pain of missing their families. I'm glad you like Riley's badass-ness! I like that we have the badass chick and then the one who runs and screams and freaks out like most of us would in that situation LOL. Gretchen might be pretty screwed without Jo around to help... we'll see! We're hoping for an update late tonight or definitely tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Didn't see that coming, but I suppose I should've. I'm so happy for them and hope everything works out OK, they deserve it.
As for Nick and AJ's Christmas songs, I was laughing so much at those lyrics! I can totally imagine them singing them too, lol.

Zombie Christmas carols give us joy! :) As for Gretchen's pregnancy, it's a tough call... on one hand, they'll need to start repopulating the earth at some point, or die out. On the other, without their medical expert, it could be risky to have a baby now. We shall see how it turns out. Glad you're still enjoying the story; thanks again for the review! :)

Awwww poor Gretchen. But wow Brian got her pregnant. I wonder how this one will work out? Loved the zombie christmas carols by Nick and AJ. Loved the update and was so happy to see one right before hallowwen :D great job ladies!
