lol now who sounds like the Geek? Interesting DiNozzo fact. What to be McGee witht he research there. I love it Zak! You know, part of me thinks that DiNozzo is the biggest geek ever. All the movie refrences, tries way too hard with the ladies, the cheesy smile... I could see the vulnerable little Tony in grade school having trouble and then coming into his own later. It makes sense. I could also see the look on Tony's face. THe guilt and need of approval from McGee. I thought you got Tony's character down pat on this one. Especially how McGee's not really sure if Tony made the whole story up or not. Well done (as always)!

Thanks again, Kelly! That's kind of how I see him, too. I think he'd like everyone to believe he is/has always been "popular" but he's always trying waaaay too hard, and it makes me think he hasn't really been. Especially because he does usually seem to really need approval from others!

I could never see Tony being called a geek, he's too damn hot! I loved the ending, once again VERY Dinozzo!
Author's Response: Thanks again. (Dang it, I think the review notices must not have been working that day; totally missed reviews to this one, too! URG!) I couldn't see Tony being a "geek" either, but I couldn't resist trying to work in the series "goof" regarding his age/graduation date. (Besides, I suspect he's a lot smarter than he tends to let on...lol)

Haha. It was kind of amusing to think of DiNozzo being called a geek... I could see metro. I could see ... experienced. But never could I see geek. I love that potential side of him, though. The way you carried that out worked really well. :)

Thanks! And yeah, I really think DiNozzo's smarter than he's usually given credit for, but "geek" probably wouldn't fit him at all. lol. Still, I couldn't resist trying to make it work when I caught the continuity error (or perhaps website mistake) about his age. :D Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment!

Wel, you know i've only watched one episode of this so far so i'm still not suite sure who is who. Although I thinl I know who Tony is. Either way, I enjoyed this fic. :O) And I don't think you do need to know who the characters are to get what's happening. Maybe for someone else but your writing does a great job of taking care of that!
Author's Response: Thanks, Mare! The thing with this fic is that it's more of a "role reversal" fic; the story probably still works without knowing them, but the twist on the characters is completely lost (I'm hoping that most people will assume the POV to be Tony and the "Geek" to be McGee (aka McGeek) until late in the fic.)
