Nicely done! I loved the relationship between Kate and Tony. They made great foils for each other, and could totally get under each others' skin, but it did always seem like there was affection behind most of it. I especially love that even in this moment when he's visiting her, he starts to needle her (with the black book) thing instead of saying what he truly wanted to say; that's totally Tony. And then you show a glimpse of the vulnerable Tony that he only rarely lets others see. Loved this ficlet. (And yay, too, for more NCIS fic ;) )

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I was really nervous about going out of my realm, but... I think it turned out nicely. After reading your NCIS ficlets (which are awesome), I thought I would give it a try. NCIS is one of my favorite shows, and I could see the chemistry between Kate and Tony. I also noticed that we never truly see how those events affected him. I love vulnerable Tony... there's so many sides to him, it's kind of fun to try and expose them. Got to add a little humor to mix with the angst. It's so Tony. =)
