At the Sheraton hotel, AJ is giving his first interview after he went solo, the backstreet boys already broke up and each has went in his own career

AJ was so happy cause he was a foot step away for singing up for a multi million dollar album deal

The reporter asks "so after this deal your singing up with Power Platinum United you will have a paved way for success right?"

AJ replies with a calm voice "Id rather not talk bout this right now but maybe later u can have an exclusive interview"

The young reporter blushes and says "is that a promise??"

He quickly answers "No it's a date"

She giggles as she turns off the little voice recorder placed half way on the table between them

She then asks the photographer to take a few pictures for the magazine to finish the interview

At a small restaurant near by Power Platinum United head office

Jim shouts "where the hell is Talton, we are late with our demo and we don’t have any thing to show the guys at PPU tomorrow, and it's our last day at the studio

Mike replies trying to calm Jim down " don’t worry he will be here, he just turned 18 and you know he boys like him are always late for big deadline that will affect there career for the rest of there life"

Mike pauses for a moment "Shit now I'm worried too"

Talton appears on his skate board "Hey guys, here I am"

Jim explodes shouting on Talton irresponsible behavior, but Talton calmly sits down and takes off his helmet to unveil his long brown hair just to hide his blue eyes, and he grabs a small snack from his back pack just to look at Jim like nothing happened

Jim takes a deep breath and calm him self down

"Do you have the lyrics ready, lets go to record the damn thing"

Mouth full of food he muffled out "no, it's not complete"

That was it for Jim; he exploded again shouting and throwing stuff

Mike interfered " hey don’t make a scene man, it will be ready for tomorrow just be cool"

Jim replied "will I can handle this any more, if we aren’t going to do any thing today im going home before this kid kills me"

A few minutes later after Jim left Mike asked Tall

"What's wrong with the lyrics Tall?"

Talton pulls up a small peace of paper and shows it to Mike

"Wow this stuff is good got to hand it to ya kid you got talent

He hands back to Talton and asks

"What's wrong why did you say it's not ready yet?"

Talton replied "I don’t think it's complete, some thing is missing"

"Will you will figure it out, lets leave it know"

Mike takes a quick glances around the half empty restaurant and leans over to Talton

"So what did you do with that girlfriend of your last night??"

Talton replied "we broke up, it didn’t work out"

"So what was wrong with this one, too Tall too short too stupid too blond"

" will I don’t know I just can't be like you "

" Like me ? "

" I just can't be to intimate with a girl unless it is true love "

" maybe that’s your problem "

" my problem "

" yes, your lyrics lacks love, your heart is just not in it yet, maybe cause you never gave your self a chance to love so how can you write about it ? "

They both just gazed into each others eyes silently for a minute

That evening, Talton was walking home about 9 pm, he was holding the small paper in front of him and thinking about what Mike said this afternoon

" my lyrics lacks love " he didn’t get it, he couldn’t understand love

" Love cant be like Mike does every day " Mike is a regular playboy, never goes home with out a girl rapped around his arm

Talton trips on a small pebble he manages to catch his balance only to drop his skate board and his paper fly away from him only to be caught by a dark figure walking in darkness intentionally avoiding the street lights

Talton picks up his skate board and heads to the stranger that he couldn’t see his face very will, all he could see was the burning light from his cigarette

He slowly approaches and from a safe distance he asks

" Sir, thank you for catching my paper, can I have it back please ? "

" this is yours "

His sound sends shivers down Taltons spine

" yes sir, can I have it back please "

The man walks closely to Talton but still Talton unable to see his face, the man crumbles the paper in his hand and throws it on the floor

" Kid you don't know what your doing "

He blows smoke in Taltons face and walks off

Next morning at the rehearsal studio waiting area, Talton made Jim explode again, throwing pens and paper clips around, the lyrics was not ready Talton was curled up in the corner of the room and Mike was trying to calm Jim down

"Jim I know Talton has a very good explanation for this, Jim go drink some thing "

Mike grabs Jim and force him to leave the room

" ok your turn now, whats wrong "

" I don’t know, I was walking home and I bumped into this guy "

" I don’t know, I couldn’t get a good look at him, I was walking home through the park and he read my lyrics "

Mike lights a cigarette " then what "

" he said that I have no talent, he said that I should stop "

Mike smiled as he stood on a table to blow smoke up a near by air vent " my god, he is a live then "

Talton turns quickly towards Mike " who, who is this guy "

" what was he doing in the park at night "

" my cousin is the building superintend over where he lives, paid big box to keep his mouth shut, he only leaves his place at nigh, my cousin says he isn’t very friendly these days so keep away from him, and what ever he said last night don’t take it so personal "

Jim walked in the room with his happy face on " look I made a few phone calls and couple promises to some people, we have one more day, we record the demo in the morning for our meeting in the afternoon "

Mike looked at Talton " good news then, lets take a walk out side the weather is nice today "

That night it was raining, Nick Carter wering a black leather rain coat armed with his umbrella walking home, as he approaches the door he pauses for a moment

Looking straight at a an eighteen year old boy all wet sitting on the steps in front of the building

A few minutes later in Nicks very lavish apartment, Nick walks out of his room wearing a dry half buttoned shirt holding in one hand a blue shirt and a small towel, he looks at the socked wet kid dripping on his expensive carpet

He throws the towel on the Taltons face " don’t drip on my floor " he throws the shirt next to him, " when the rain stops get out "

Nick sits on his chair he lights up a cigarette and flips through channels

" now tell me kid why are you stalking me "

Talton taking off his wet shirt and reaching for the other one " don’t you remember me, we bumped into each other last night "

" no I don’t remember you "

" yes you do, you where acting like a jerk saying I had no talent "

" for the lyrics you wrote, I don’t think you would have any chance "

" you just said you don’t remember "

" I lied stupid "

" I'm sorry its just what you said to me last night really bugged me, I was thinking about it all last night and all day today "

Talton sat in the opposite chair " and I just wanted to see you "

Quickly Nicks eyes shifts from the sixty inch TV on the wall to Tal

rain stopped

Next day at PPU Jim was in a meeting with the general manager and former Back Street Boys agent Oscar Ruffin

" Im sorry sir, we couldn’t finish the demo today we need another day "

" sorry Jim, I gave you more then enough time for this "

" sir, just one more day, you will not regret this, this kid has talent it would … "

" I'm sorry, PPU has to go with some one else for the opening act for Aj "

Jim was losing hope when he heard the secretary shouting out side

" young man you cant go in, you need an appointment "

Talton runs through the door with behind him Oscars secretary and a few security guards

" Its ready its ready " Tal shouts as he runs behind Jim

Oscar singles to the guard to stop " let him go, its ok "

A few minutes later Mike walks in a conference room, Talton curled on one of the chairs while Jim prepares his presentation for Oscar

" I didn’t get a chance to talk to you this morning, your smoking hot in the studio, what changed over nigh "

" I went to see the jerk "

" no you didn’t, did you screw my cousin "

" no I just walked around at night thinking and found my self sitting in front of his house, I waited a while then he showed up "

" we talked for a while then kicked me out, from some reason I was motivated "

Mike pulled a chair next to Tal " hey I don’t know how to put it but you are attracted to him "

Taltons eye widened as Mike mentioned the word attracted

" no I'm not, it cant be, he's a guy "

" seriously Tal, this guy really got to you, I mean all you do is talk about him, if you really like him or hate him my advice is to go and tell him that and get it over with "

Jim turns around " ok guys be ready mister Oscar will be here in five "

He look around the room and " where the hell is Tal "

Mike lighting up a cigarette " my guess he went to talk to some one "

On his skate board he dashes through the streets thinking about what to say, what to expect what kind of rude answer will come from him

A few minutes later, Talton was in front of the building door, staring at the buzzer the only one marked with the initials NC

He his fingers touches the metallic silver button but his hand is shaking he is afraid to push the button

" Kid the hell are you doing here " Nick shouts with an angry voice

Talton startled his eyes wide just lost his ability to speak

A beautiful hot woman walks out almost looks like a super model to see what Nick is angry about, she notices Tal frozen in his place

" who is this kid Nick " she asks looking up and down checking out Tal he was still in Nicks blue shirt

Nick moved right behind Tal and hugged him from behind

" this is Talton, we have a date tonight, don’t you think he is cute "

Talton tries to break away from Nick but Nick quickly whispers in his ear " say a word and I will break your neck "

The super model responds " so this is the reason your hiding and not returning any ones calls "

They stair into each other for a moment and then she says before leaving very upset " idiot I'm not letting you screw things up "

As soon as she drives off angry Nick quickly lets go of Talton and slowly walks inside with Talton following him

" hey she is hot, do you think its wise to let a hot babe like that go "

" that’s not good, you hurt her feelings "

" yes, she is angry " Nick stops for a moment before he reaches the elevator " but isn’t that good for you ? "

Talton freezes in his place, he doesn't know what to say

Nick walks in the elevator, but quickly Talton follows

" listen Nick I want you to come to my concert but if your gonna talk shit about my song don’t come, any way what the hell you know my song, I don’t think … "

Nick quickly moves and violently grabs talton from his shirt and pins him to the side of the elevator

" just shut the fuck up " he slowly loosens his hand

" you talk to much " he lets go of Talton

" he always nagged me just like you " he looks in to his eyes

" why are you looking at me like this " he pushes Taltons hair away from his face

" why do you keep coming back " Nick says lowering his voice
