Sadness showing,
I continue on;
I can't go back;
Can't bear to see you lying there
My life shattered
When you were taken,
I didn't want to go on;
Didn't want to let you go.
You were my everything,
Now I have nothing.
How can you be
So cruelly taken?
Days go by,
Months go by,
Years go by
And the pain ebbs.
