That Night . . .
"So what did they say?" Nick asked me that night, before he was going to turn off the light.
"Mom still pissed . . ., " I began, but he interrupted.
"Does she hate me? Should I make a run for it?"
"No, she just wants you stay and take care of the kid."
"Oh, ok." Nick got up and turned off the light. He was about to lay down on the sofa-bed when I spoke.
"Nick, can you sleep with me?"
Even in darkness, I could tell he smiled, "Anything for you, babygirl."
I smiled as he laid down next to me and wrapped his arms around me tightly.
He kissed my forehead, "Goodnight, babygirl."
"Goodnight, baby," I said and kissed his lips.

I didn't go to sleep. I couldn't. I was too busy wondering why would my mother say something like that about Nick. "Well, he kinda has been acting strange. In a way, like he only shows his love and kinda sad face. I haven't seen his happy face in a long time," I thought, "That's kinda weird." I rolled my eyes at myself and tried to avoid my thoughts.

I was at the Carter house for Christmas Eve. Nick told Jane and Bob about the baby. I believe Jane was kinda ok with it. I saw Bob talking to Nick privately. I hope the Carters' don't hate me. When Aaron found out, I saw a little bit of disappointment in his face. Jane showed me Nick's baby pictures, while he played Playstation with Aaron. I noticed Nick had a big head, LoL, but it was adorable. I also noticed where Nick's big butt came from . . . LoL. He always had it! Jane, BJ, and I cooked chicken, turkey, and everything else you have on Christmas Eve. Nothing really has been happening much. I'm just bored . . . And hungry. Man, our baby is gonna big like its daddy! LoL
