Bianca opened her eyes and looked around the unfamiliar room. Waking up in strange places was becoming increasingly more common to her just like the guys told her it would. She had realized where she was: Kevin's guest bedroom. Now she had to figure out what had woken her in the first place.

The doorbell. She rose from her comfortable bed and walked downstairs when she heard the chime again. She knew it was Nick; he had promised to bring her breakfast when he brought her home the night before. Bianca opened the door wide to let him in, expecting a hello kiss.

Nick brushed past her laughing loudly. "Are you crazy? You haven't even brushed your teeth yet, and you want me to kiss you?"

Bianca pushed him playfully and leaned in for a kiss anyway. Nick obeyed. She looked down at the box in his hand and rolled her eyes. "Donuts? This is your idea of breakfast?"

"What?" Nick asked dumbly. "They're a great breakfast food! Good with milk."

Bianca just snorted. "Don't be so loud, baby. Brianna and Kev are still asleep."

"Still? They were asleep when I brought you home last night."

"Nick, you brought me home at 2 a.m."

"Oh yeah." Holding the box of donuts, he wrapped his arms around her shoulders. "Can we please go eat breakfast now?"

Kevin awoke the next morning when he felt Brianna snuggle farther into his arms. He lifted her face to his and kissed her gently, but she didn't rouse. He lay there stroking her hair and thinking about the first time he saw her, sitting alone at Jive studios. He had never believed in love at first sight until then. He had known immediately that she was special.

She was such a peaceful sleeper; innocent looking, although Kevin knew she was anything but. Brianna was tough. A fighter unafraid of anyone, anything, or what anybody else thought of her. Kevin knew her soft side though. He knew all about her wild streak and her ability to take care of herself, but, at the same time, he knew her desire to realize she was taken care of; loved by someone other than herself. His thoughts were interrupted by her voice.

"Hey green eyes," she said in a half-whisper. "What are you thinking about so hard?"

"You, darlin'," Kevin said just as softly, "and how much I enjoyed my birthday present." Kevin kissed her neck and pulled away smiling slyly. "Did you sleep well last night?"

"Like a baby," Brianna answered with a sigh. "I was exhausted."

Kevin laughed and rubbed her cheek. "And you were beautiful...and sexy...and wonderful."

He kissed her between each phrase to add emphasis to his words. "I was just watching you this morning when I realized that I've loved you since the first time I saw you."

Brianna put her lips to Kevin's forcefully and pulled herself on top of him, bunching the sheets around them. Kevin's arms circled her waist and Brianna broke their kiss. She looked down at Kevin with a devilish grin and breathed "show me."

"What?" Kevin stammered. She had shocked him last night with her actions and now with her words. "But last night was only your...are you sure you..." Kevin thought that Brianna would want to wait a while before being together again. "Darlin', I don't want to wear you out," he said with a laugh.

"Why don't you try?" she asked in a seductive tone. "You know I can't get enough of you."

Kevin looked into her dark brown eyes and knew she was serious. A smile played sweetly on her full lips, just as it had when she was sleeping. Kevin rolled her onto her back and laced his fingers into hers by his side before he kissed Brianna again.

Bianca laughed loudly at Nick, who was finishing off his fourth donut. "You've got glaze all over your face!" she exclaimed in a fit of laughter. "And what isn't covered in glaze has milk on it!"

"I bet you really wanna kiss me right now, huh!" Their peaceful moment was interrupted by footsteps in the kitchen stairwell. Kevin walked into the kitchen in his wind-pants and tank top with Brianna on his back clad in his boxers and gray Kentucky basketball t-shirt. The pair was oblivious to the fact that they were not alone.

Stopping long enough to grab some strawberries from the refrigerator's top shelf, he sat Brianna down on the countertop and turned to face her. Her legs went around his waist as he kissed her deeply before he let her bite the strawberry in his hand.

"Don't look now, but I think I know 2 people that got some last night," Nick cracked in a loud whisper. It didn't phase the lovers on the other side of the kitchen.

Bianca just sat semi-dumb-struck at the scene in front of her. She didn't think that Brianna would do Kevin this soon, no matter how strong her feelings for him were. Trying to hide her shock, she stood and took Nick's hand. "C'mon, Nicky. Let's go in the other room."

She quickly pulled Nick into Kevin's living room and sat on the couch.

"What's the matter, Bean?" Nick asked sitting down beside her.

Looking at him, she had to giggle. "I'm just a little surprised. I know Brianna loves Kevin and he loves her, but I don't think she realizes what she did," she said while wiping the glaze off of Nick's lips.

"Brianna's a big girl. You should let her take care of herself."

"Yeah, but she'd be saying the same thing I am if it were the other way around. I know she would. And I'd probably get a lecture of some kind," she sighed impatiently. "I just thought she would've waited a little longer."

"Well, are you gonna lecture her or just keep quiet?"

"No, Nick, I'm not gonna lecture her," she responded a little more harshly than intended. "I'm still entitled to my own opinion, but that doesn't mean I'll voice it!"

"Why can't you just be happy for both of 'em and move on? I'm glad that Kev's got somebody now." Nick was met with silence and a stony glare from Bianca. "Look, I don't feel like fighting with you now. I'll come pick you up for Train's party."

"I can drive Brianna's car."

"Fine; whatever," Nick said in exasperation. "Bye." He turned and was gone without telling Bianca he loved her.

Hey, sweetie. What's wrong?" Bianca turned to find Brianna standing alone in the kitchen doorway.

"Nothing. Where's Kevin?"

"He went upstairs to take a shower," Brianna said flopping down in a chair and wincing slightly at the impact.

Bianca noticing her discomfort, and knowing the reason for it, asked, "Wee, why aren't you in there with him?"

Brianna blushed slightly and looked at her best friend. "So I guess you know, huh?"

Bianca nodded, "Yeah."

"You couldn't hear us, could you?"

"No, not really." Although she was a little disappointed in Brianna, Bianca was still curious. "Brianna...will you tell me about it?" she asked innocently.

Brianna blushed again, but not from embarrassment this time. "Oh, gosh, Bianca, I don't even know where to start."

"Well," she began quietly, "just the important stuff. Ya know, the major parts that would be of interest for when me and Nick are ready," she winced as she remembered their fight.

Brianna closed her eyes tight and thought for a moment. "We came home from dinner last night and were just sitting on the couch and we stared making out. Next thing I know, I'm pressed against Kevin's bedroom door and our clothes are coming off." She stopped and waited for Bianca to question further.

"Well," she thought for a minute. Blushing a little, she continued, "Did it hurt?"

"He picked me up and took me to the bed and, when he crawled on top of me I got shivers. It hurt at first, but it was because, well, he's definitely a grown man, if you know what I mean," Brianna sighed to herself and crossed her arms across her stomach.

Bianca continued to question Brianna. "What was he like?" she asked with a broad grin.

"Honestly, Bean, he was absolutely amazing," Brianna gushed. Her face beamed as she recounted the other details. "At first he kind of took it easy, but then we got more and more excited and, before we knew it, we were both covered in sweat and he was rubbing me in places that I didn't think were humanly possible to touch," Brianna was talking so fast that her words were jumbled together.

"So I guess he was good."

"Bean, there isn't a word to describe how he was. The whole experience was so...so...intense and when it was all over it was almost like a storm had passed."

All Bianca could manage was "Wow!" Thinking for a moment, she added, "That had to be an incredible first time."

"Actually," Brianna laughed her trade-mark cackle, "it was a beyond incredible first, second, and, this morning, third time."

Bianca's eyes widened in shock. "You mean...you...I mean, you weren't too tired of sore to do it again?" she stuttered.

"No, not then," Brianna answered, still laughing. "But I'm gonna pay for it today." She closed her eyes. "It hurts like hell to walk, but, shit, it was well worth it!"

Bianca laughed. "I wouldn't know."

"There you are, baby," Kevin interrupted in his deep voice. "I was wondering what you could be up to," Kevin said quietly before leaning down to kiss Brianna gently. "Hey, Bianca. Sorry to interrupt. What wouldn't you know?"

"Umm," she blushed profusely, "why Nick and I aren't getting along as well as y'all this morning. I mean, you're being really sweet and he's being such an ass."

'Wow, great Bean. Lame excuses always work wonders,' she said to herself as that was the only explanation she could quickly think of.

"Everything will work out all right. Nick just has some growing up to do," Kevin paused and put his hands on Brianna's shoulders from his spot behind her chair. "He still has to realize that when you really love someone, nothing else is as important to you as that person." Kevin gave Brianna's shoulders a tight squeeze and kissed the curve of her neck. "Once you two cool off everything's gonna be all right."

"Yeah, I guess you're right," she replied feeling bad about her outburst earlier. "He upset me when he left; he didn't even tell me he loved me. Oh, and I have to use your car tonight Brianna. Nick would've picked me up, but I kinda said I'd drive your car instead."

"Okay, sweetie," Brianna said in her motherly tone while glaring at Bianca. If she gave away Kevin's surprise party, Brianna would kill her.

A hurt look flashed across Kevin's face. "Oh, tonight. I was kinda hoping that all of us could go out, but the other guys haven't...mentioned anything." The guys had never forgotten Kevin's birthday before, but nobody had even called. Nick had driven over but hadn't bothered to tell him happy birthday. Bianca had obviously forgotten, too. "Well, baby, looks like it's just gonna be me and you," he said to Brianna with a forced smile.

"Yeah," Brianna said waiting for Bianca to jump in.

"Yeah, well, I had better go call Nick or I won't be going anywhere. I'll be stuck here with you two fuck-buddies," Kevin's face turned a bright crimson as Bianca left the room.

Kevin sat down in the chair with Brianna, pulled her legs across his lap, and kissed her hungrily. "Well, I'm looking forward to spending the whole day with you, doll."

Brianna kissed him back and smiled as he whispered into her ear how he couldn't believe how lucky he was to have found her. Brianna felt exactly the same.

**A Few Minutes Later**

Bianca held the phone almost beckoning it to ring. She did not want to make this phone call.

"Well, here we go," she finally gave in and began dialing.

1 ring

2 rings

"God, I knew he was mad, But I didn't think he was this upset," she sighed to herself.

5 rings

"Hello?" answered a breathless Aaron.

"Hey, umm, Aaron, is Nick there?"

"Oh, hey Bianca. Yeah, hand on and I'll go get him."

She heard Aaron set the phone down and couldn't help but giggle when she heard him yell, "Nick, telephone. It's your GIRLFRIEND!"

"Hey," he spoke softly. "Are you okay?"

"Um hmm," Bianca answered quietly. "I'm sorry about earlier. It was a stupid argument."

"Me too," he said relief filling his voice. "I'm really sorry I just left like that. I love you, baby."

"Aww, I love you, too. The whole thing was so stupid. We're supposed to be mature adults and look how we acted," she laughed.

"I know."

They talked for a few more minutes before deciding they had to go get ready for the party.

**********************************************************

Brianna and Kevin hadn't moved from their spot in his chair all morning, but when Brianna looked at the clock on the wall she jumped from Kevin's lap in surprise. "Oh, shit!"

"Baby, what's wrong?" Kevin asked sitting up.

"It's almost noon. I still have to get dressed, go pick up your present, and run some errands before our lunch today."

"What lunch?"

"I made reservations for us to have a nice, quiet little birthday lunch at the country club down the street. After I leave, you need to start getting ready. The reservations are for 2:00." Brianna kissed him lightly on the cheek before running upstairs to shower and change.

After a while she bounded down the stairs in what had to be the sexiest outfit Kevin had ever seen her wear. Brianna spun around playfully and stood before him expectantly. "Well, do I meet your approval, Mr. Richardson?"

"Oh, yeah, baby," he said taking in the black leather mini-skirt and blue leather tube top. "How do you not fall over in those shoes? Those platforms have to be like six inches."

"They're fine," she said with a grin. "Bianca took my car when she left so I have to drive your truck. Okay? I'll be back at about 1:30. Be ready and waiting for me."

"I'm ready and waiting for you now," Kevin said jokingly before pulling her in for a kiss.

Brianna pulled away reluctantly and headed for the door. "Be careful, baby. I love you," Kevin called out. Brianna threw a wink in his direction grabbed his keys and her shades and was gone.

Climbing under the steering wheel of his 4-Runner, she couldn't help but smile at the thought of how he would react to the surprises she had in store for him.
