Story Notes:

I just thought up another concept earlier today lol...and I have everything planned out in my head this is going to be a series so I hope you like book one of this series...dont have a name for it quite yet, but I will soon I promise so please R&R!!!

She walked out to the patio and saw her husband of 17 years sitting there in his favorite chair. She knew what she was about to do was the right way to go. She couldn’t stay married to a man who ran away with his mistress on numerous occasions and said he was going on a business trip. The marriage counseling just wasn’t working any longer for her their marriage was going no where as long as the mistress was in the picture.

“We need to talk” she softly said as she approached him.

“Yeah, I know”

“I can’t do this anymore Brian…we’re drifting apart our marriage just isn’t working. You keep running off with that mistress of yours even when you promise you have broken it off Brian. I cannot be with a man who does that to me…and to our children.”

“How many times do I have to say I am sorry to make it up to you?”

“Sorry isn’t going to cut it any longer Brian.”

“Just tell me what I can do to make it up to you then? I’ll do anything?”

“I have already asked you to end it with her and you still haven’t Brian. I am not stupid I hear you sneak in at all hours of the night and smelling like her perfume. I know you think you can make it up to me, but you just can’ Brian. I am sorry”

“So what are you saying then?”

“I want a divorce Brian that is what I am saying. You can pack up some of your things and get out of my house and stay at a motel until you can find your own place to stay,” she said as a tear rolled down her cheek.

“What about the kids?”

“I’ll take care of that Brian…and you are more than welcomed to see them whenever…I just can’t be married to you any longer again, I am sorry” and she walked away. She knew this was going to be difficult to tell the children, but it had to be done she just couldn’t put herself through the pain any longer this was the best thing for her and the children.
