Brian's View

"Holy shit," I heard AJ's voice whisper beside me. I didn't look at him, I didn't look at anybody...except her. I could barely move, I could barely breathe. It was like my body became paralyzed. Seeing her made my whole body grow weak.

"She's mine," Nick breathed walking in front of me. I ignored him and just stared as the beautiful figure walked towards us. She wasn't what I expected, she definitely wasn't a kid that's for sure. She was grown, full grown.

"No, she's mine," AJ said walking in front of me and pushing Nick lightly. I just looked past them and into the face that had me hypnotized. Her long blonde hair framed her face perfectly. The curls that she had bounced with each step she took. Her full lips were curled into a smile that could light up the whole room, and in my eyes, it was. Her blue eyes sparkled with happiness and her skin, slightly tan, seemed so smooth and tempted you so much to caress.

"Boys, this is Nicole, Madeline's sister," Fatima smiled as she put a hand on Nicole's back as she finally came up to Fatima. Nicole smiled at us all and said, "You guys can call me Nikki. Everyone does."

Her voice was heavenly. I wouldn't be surprised if she could sing, and sing well. It was like an angel was speaking the words. It was like an angel was standing in front of me. I have never seen someone as beautiful as this before in my life.

"It's nice to meet you Nikki. I'm Kevin," Kevin grinned, extending his hand for her to shake. She shook it with a pleased smile on her face. Howie came up and extended his hand also, "I'm Howie but these guys call me D."

"It's nice to meet you," her soft voice filled my ears. I still did not budge from where I was standing.

"Hello beautiful, I'm AJ, but you can call me anything you want," AJ flirted as he pushed past Howie and in front of Nicole. Nicole laughed lightly and shook his hand saying, "Nice to meet you Dopey."

"Dopey?" AJ asked confused. She smiled and teased, "You said I could call you anything I wanted."

"She's a bright one! A sarcastic one at that," AJ laughed looking over at Fatima who in turn smiled lightly.

"Hey, I'm Nick," Nick smiled, waving. I don't really blame him for not going up and touching her hand. I thought that my touch would be too rough for someone with skin so delicate.

"Hi," she waved back. I knew that it was my turn to introduce myself but I still couldn't move.

"Bri? Aren't you going to say hi?" Fatima asked. I tore my eyes away from Nicole's face for the first time and looked over at Fatima, who was looking at me expectantly.

"Oh, yeah, sorry," I smiled slightly. I stepped forward a couple steps and looked up into her face again. This time, finding her beautiful blue eyes staring back into mine.

"Hi, I'm Brian, it's really nice to meet you Nicole," I said as I extended my hand. She smiled at me and slid her hand into mine. Her skin felt soft and smooth beneath my touch. I shook her hand slowly and then brought my hand back to my side.

"Well, now that we're all acquainted, why don't you guys go do something? I'm sure you'd like to get to know Nikki," Fatima said putting her hand on Nicole's shoulder.

"Yeah sure," Kevin said nodding.

"Great, I'll see you guys later. Take good care of her," she smiled as she turned on her heal and started to walk away. She stopped abruptly and turned around, "Oh and girl have some fun!"

Nicole laughed as Fatima winked at her and then walked out the door. As Nicole turned to face us again and as Kevin asked where she wanted to go, I pried my eyes away from her face and traveled downward to what she was wearing. She had a slim figure but one that fit her perfectly. She was wearing a light green sun dress, her chest filling it out perfectly. She also wore white flip flops and around her neck was a silver necklace with a cross dangling from it.

"Anywhere is fine," she smiled at Kevin.

"How about we go back to my house and have some dinner? I can cook us some lasagna or something. Does that sound good?" Kevin asked.

"Yup, that sounds great," she smiled.

"Alrighty, lets go," Kevin said as he picked up his jacket from his chair and walked across the dance studio to the exit. The rest of the guys began to follow as I went to go pick up my sunglasses from one of the chairs. I picked them up and turned around finding Nicole still standing there, looking at me with interest. I was immediately taken aback and became shy.

"Hey," I said walking slowly up to her.

"Hi," she smiled at me. "Are you the shy one out of the group?"

I looked over at her smiling face and couldn't help but smile myself, "No, not normally. I guess I'm just a little tired. Sorry I was kinda being rude before."

"Rude? Hardly. I get it a lot. I don't mean to make people feel uncomfortable," she said raising her hand and playing with the cross on her neck.

"Uncomfortable? No, you didn't make me feel uncomfortable," I said quickly, looking over at her. She glanced at me and smiled, "That's a relief. So why are you so tired? Didn't get that much sleep?"

"Nah, AJ and I went out last night and we didn't get home until late," I explained. She just nodded and looked ahead.

"So where are you from?" I asked as we came upon the exit door. I opened it and stepped aside for Nicole to walk past me. She walked past and then stopped and waited for me until I came up next to her.

"Up north," she said. Up north? I didn't expect that answer. I was hoping for a city or state, maybe even a country.

"Where up north?" I asked. She smiled at me and teased, "Somewhere up north."

I couldn't help but smile. I was beginning to loosen up. She was real easy to talk to. I thought I would have some trouble talking to her, but I was wrong.

"Where are you from?" she asked.

"Lexington, Kentucky," I said stepping off the sidewalk and onto the asphalt. I looked ahead and found Kevin, AJ, Nick, and Howie already over by the cars chatting.

"I should have known," she grinned. I looked over at her and asked, "Why's that?"

"Cause of that cute little accent you have," she teased.

"Cute? Hah!" I laughed lightly, looking down.

"It is! I love people with accents! I like hearing them," she smiled at me. I looked up and into her eyes. It's like her eyes were even smiling at me.

"Good to hear 'cause you're going to be hearing it a lot."

"Yup, sure am," she said. We walked up the guys who were now getting into their cars.

"Hey Nikki, do you wanna ride with me?" Howie asked as he unlocked his car door.

"Sure!" she said. She looked at me once more before walking over to Howie's car. I couldn't help but want her to ride with Nick and I, but then again, Nick would probably say something stupid to embarrass us both so this was probably for the best.

We all got into our cars and headed down the street, music blaring through the speakers.

"Damn man, that girl is hot!" Nick exclaimed as he turned a corner. I looked out the window and then over at him and said, "She isn't hot. She's gorgeous."

"Yeah, but I'm still gonna call her hot. It's easier to say!"

"Well, so is cute and fine but you aren't using those," I pointed out.

"Ah yes, FINE! I forgot about that. OK, she was upgraded from hot to fine," he grinned widely. I just laughed and shook my head.

"She seems real nice," I said.

"Extra bonus! You're pretty lucky Bri," he said as he came to a stop at a stop sign and then started up again. I looked over at him confused and said, "Huh?"

"I said you're pretty lucky."

"Lucky? Why would I be lucky?" I asked. I couldn't think of one thing that could make me lucky. If anything, I was the opposite of having luck. I've been going through some pretty crappy stuff lately to even be considered lucky.

"Didn't you see the way she was looking at you?" he asked looking at me. I just stared at him. I had no idea what he was talking about.

"You didn't notice? You didn't see how she kept smiling and all that?" he asked. I shook my head and said, "No, but come on Nick, she was smiling at all of us."

"Yeah, but she gave you a different kind of smile," she said. I looked at him weirdly and said, "A different kind of smile?"

"Yes! She gave me this regular smile like all the other guys, but she gave you this other smile," he nodded.

"How many smiles can a girl have?" I joked.

"I'm serious! Plus, she even waited for you! You didn't see her walking out with us did you? No. She walked out with you. She was talking to YOU," he said.

"Your point? She's going to be talking to all of us," I shrugged. Nick sighed and shook her his, "You really are tired man."

"And you just now noticed that?" I asked.

"Shut up!" he said. I just laughed and looked out the window once more. I didn't really understand what Nick was getting at, but on some level I did know. He was hinting that she possibly could be interested in me. It's a nice thought, but I just don't see how someone that beautiful could at all be interested in someone like me. I just didn't really find it possible.
