Is really awful that I'm starting to take Sean's side in all of this? I mean, I really feel bad for Nick as well since of course he just found out Aylssa is pregnant with his child... but yeesh. Poor Sean is on the other side of the world, fighting for the country as Alyssa said and yet she's having a baby with another guy. Like, I know he was kind of a douche before he left, but still. It's probably just my personal situation that's making me feel this way but yeah. I really feel bad for Sean. Either way, it was a really good chapter Mel :) I was so surprised to see an update this morning, you've really been on a roll lately, woot! Keep it up girlie!

I can completely understand your personal connection to this Steph and its perfectly all right to feel bad for Sean. At least someone does. LOl I feel bad for Sean. Unfortunately, I have to show all sides and in a situation like this SOMEONE is going to get hurt and there's no way around it.

Alyssa's explanation to Nick about the whole breastfeeding issue was highly amusing. Poor guy lol. And Alyssa making the first move with nick was a nice touch! I suppose Nick is right in thinking that it was good that they stopped, I mean poor Sean is over in Iraq with no idea that the Blonde Wonder is over at his house doing questionable things with his wife LOL. Great chapter Mel! I'm excited to read the next one :D

Author's Response: I know lol Poor Nick. But he DID ask, so he dug his own grave lol. You'll see Alyssa being a lot more agressive in upcoming chapters. VERY different from her in UMS. Haha Blonde Wonder... He sounds like a superhero LOL

I finally got all caught up, and wow that is a lot of drama and confusing emotions! Of course I loved every word! The romantic side of me is totally rooting for Alyssa and Nick, it seems like things are finally coming together for them and they're both finally able to be in a realtionship with each other. Of course, this newfound uh.. maturity if you will couldn't have come at a worse time. I can only imagine how Sean is going to react to this news, as well as everyone else they know. There is definitely going to be a huge media scandal.. which isn't going to healthy for Alyssa's pregnancy at all. = Hopefully things don't get too bad for them (though I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to read more uber drama!) And Shayla is hiring a detective to spy on Nick?! Dude, I freakin love that! Man, that is going to be fun to read, and ergh she is such a crazy. I mean, it's clear hers and Nick's marriage is failing, she obviously doesn't trust him (with good reason I guess, but still even back to the whole fake pregnancy thing) so I really think things need to end for them regardless if Alyssa were in the picture or not. That was a really long review.. but I hope you kind of got the point of all my rambling haha. Can't wait for your next update!!

The media is definitely going to have a field day w/ Alyssa and Nick, but it may not happen as soon as you think. Shayla sure is willing to do just about anything to hold on to Nick. She's a desperate woman as you'll see in upcoming chapters. There's plenty of drama up ahead, so don't worry!

Interesting last couple of chapters, Mel! As sad as it was that Ian died, it was good set up for what I can only expect to be coming. And Nick having to sleep with Shayla? Ick. I mean I guess I feel bad for her, but jeez. Hopefully things will eventually get easier for Nick and Alyssa, but I'm sure they've got a lot of drama ahead of them before that happens. I'm waiting impatiently for more!

AWESOME! (Yup, so awesome that it needed to be in caps.) It was incredibly long, which rocked. I can see where you would have almost forgotten about some things, there sure was a lot going on in this chapter.

When Alyssa spotted Sean my breath caught in my throat. I'm glad she was able to keep her cool around him though. Nick on the other hand... lol I loved his orgasm comment. Of course that's something Nickers would say, ha!

Shayla is a supreme bitch to the extreme.. but you know what? She just got solid proof that her husband was having an affair and having a child with not only another woman, his ex-fiancee at that! Of course she's going to be upset, but that doesn't justify her pushing Alyssa down the stairs. (Though, the way I read it, it didn't really seem like she tried to make Alyssa fall on purpose..) Still everyone's going to have it out for her now. And with all the media there? Shiiit.

I adored this chapter, Mel. Needless to say I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the next update. You definitely did the job. You're an excellent writer and you've definitely come a long way since UMS. =) Great work!!

There was a lot going on! In fact, I almost forgot to include the scene where Shayla finds the sonogram which was just a tiny bit important lol. Yes... Nick's orgasm comment was great! One of my favorite lines. Sean pretty much walked right into that one.

I'm really glad that you made that comment about Shayla. I mean I know after this chapter everyone wants to kill her and I can't say that I blame them, but there's a lot more to her than just Nick's bitchy wife. She's arguably one of my more interesting characters. Finding out everything she has in the manner she has definitely has chipped away at her sanity a little bit. And yes she definitely did not purposely push Alyssa thinking Oh I'll fix you and your baby... It was just heat of the moment, she got angry and pushed her to scare her not realizing that Alyssa actually could fall. Still, you are right that she's in a bad position now and you'll have to keep reading to see how she handles the situation.

Aww and thank you SOOOO much for the major compliment. I was rereading UMS the other day and I can't believe how far I've come either!

Pole dancing, what a great idea! Sounds like a lot of fun haha. I'm glad Alyssa is up and about and feeling a bit better about herself. It seems like the therapy sessions are helping, which is good. Hopefully she can start to get things back on track with Nick as well.. Great chapter Mel!
