I've been a BSB fan since 1997 and been writing fanfic off and on since 1999. Started out with my own (ultra teenybopper) website, moved on to FanFiction.net, and obviously now AC is where I currently resign ;)

Nick tends to make an appearance in all of my stories, whether they're about him or not! He's such an attention whore. I've written a lot of Nick romance in terms of my longer stories, but you'll find that my one-shots are mainly about the boys themselves doing what they do best - angsting and being cheesy and bromantic.

Date: 09/02/12 Title: Chapter 37: Chapter Thirty-Six

I was wondering what you'd do about Leighanne being in the video! I really liked this one, with Nick trying to help out and being all brotherly. Aww Frick and Frack. And Ugh, Lou, giving Jane the money to keep quiet. And Ugh, Jane, accepting it! I suppose their family actually does need the money, but still. Maybe if their family needs the money so much she should put another one of her sons into the pop music business? Oh wait..

Anyway I really enjoyed Leighanne being at the shoot and the comments from all the guys. I liked how Brian and Leighanne both corrected Nick at the same time, showing how they're still in sync with each other, even if they're broken up now. And I loved, loved, loved the last line. It's true - Brian isn't fighting for her. He's not even fighting for himself. So many tears.

Date: 07/11/12 Title: Chapter 2: Role Reversal

I loved this one! Especially the Nick and Kevin role reversal, that was so funny. I liked the way you wrote it at first, where we came into the scene and it sounded like it might have been Kevin lecturing Nick for leaving his shoes out, and in the end Kevin had done it on purpose. Of course Nick would eat the sandwich, haha! Howie's little comment at the end was so sweet, about how he was looking forward to what was going to happen. These are so good so far, Mare! Keep it up!

Awww Mare! I was so excited to see this up on most recent! Thank you for writing this, I imagine it's very much how Kevin feels and I love his internal thoughts about AJ and Nick and how they seemed to be more at peace. Those pictures made me so happy, and I feel so much better about Kevin coming back now and your story now just makes me even more excited. Looking forward to more of these! I really loved it! :)

This one was really Brian-ish! I really liked it. I enjoyed how he was sort of annoyed by the fans and didn't understand them hanging around outside the studio. I imagine the boys do feel like that. I know I would feel like that if people waited outside my work for me all day. I liked how you really focused on how Brian is a homebody and how being in the studio is the closest thing to that with the job he has. I also loved how they would pick the lyrics from the pile and how they didn't their names on them and Brian's personal guessing game of who wrote which ones - that was cute! I could see the guys doing something like that :) I didn't think this was boring at all! Not a lot of action, but entertaining and interesting all the same. Great job as usual, Mare :) Looking forward to the AJ one!

LMFAO!

This was the most hilarious thing I have ever read! Every single time AJ snapped a picture of himself I burst out laughing, and then his bomb video at the end. And the fact that he had no clue why the other guys kept giving him weird looks...ahhh... classic. I loved it. Also loved the callback to Kevin's shoes in front of Nick's door. This was amazing!

Awww Nick. This was a sweet one. I like how you had him reflecting on his relationships with the guys, how he's grown up and how happy he was when the others would do things that indicated they saw him as more than just a little brother. And LOL and him flushing Howie's room key down the toilet. I could totally picture than happening! Great job with this one as usual, Mare, and I can't wait for the next one :)

I loved this one with all five! I actually especially loved Kevin's part, where you really dove into what he's like, and how the fans saw him as overly serious and were very quick to jump to conclusions. I definitely think that's true, and I really love how you portray the boys and their many different layers. Honestly, when I'm reading these I nearly forget that they're fiction, haha. Fantastic as usual, mare! These are such a great companion to all the photos/tweets we're getting while the boys are in London. Thank you so much for writing them! :)

Awwwww! I loved this one! It was the perfect mix of sweet and hilarious. I loved Howie's little comment at the end, lmao and how Kevin said it was always Howie getting them going in interviews. I could see that being true. Loved Kevin's dig at NKOTB too, haha! I'm sure he would have to be heavily medicated to want to do it again. I also laughed at this line "Kevin is not being a naggish buttinsky." hahaha! And also the part where Kevin figured Nick was too much of a heathen for Brian to invite him to church, lol. Great job Mare :) Loving this!

I'm sad the boys are on their way home too :( but I'm happy the stories will continue for the time being! YAY!

This one was really sweet. I loved AJ's little commentary, and burst out laughing at his comment about how Kevin had no idea what kinds of pictures the fans wanted to see, lmao. I also enjoyed Brian being the perverted one (which I could totally see happening) and AJ thinking that they could fill up the whole recording booth with water, haha. Poor Nick. Oh also Nick's serious comment about how cake is his crack, haha! I really liked this one! Great work, Mare :)

Awww I really liked this one! I liked how you did the transitions between their scenes, it had a very Why I'd Do It All Again feeling to it. I also really liked Nick comment about how he used to get jealous when the guys would say they missed their families because he felt he was their family. Awww Nick. I'm sure he really did used to feel that way. You're so good at channeling the boys! I'm beginning to suspect that you were actually in London with them :P Keep up the great work as always!

I can't believe I somehow missed this one! Seriously epic, Mare. I loved how Nick was trying to pull one over on them and they all slowly jumped in one by one and he ended up being the one who got tricked, haha! That's classic. This one definitely had an old-school feel to it. I loved the nod to fanfic and how Brian would write the gory ones, and of course the gopher, lol. Great work on this one, it was great! :)

Awwwwwwwwww. Those guys are presh. I loved how they were teasing Nick about being Nichloas with an H and how Kevin mentioned the twitter drama over that, lmao. That was a fun day when that happened, us coming up with all those theories. though I'm sure some people legitimately did have that type of reaction!! Also loved the comparison of Kevin to Sam, the resemblance is uncanny! Haha. The ending was cute where they did their little Backstreet huddle. Gah I love them. This was fantastic! Sad to see it coming to an end (much like the boys time in London, what a great summer!) but excited for the next one for sure. Loving all of these :)

I definitely saw people complaining and actually upset because Kevin and Howie both spelled Nick's name wrong lol Sam and KEvin do look very similar. I think about that whenever I see Sam. I love them too! For my benefit they all need to just leave their families and move in together. My life would be complete if they did that!! Thanks again, Steph! :)

LOL! Tracy, this was pretty epic. I can totally picture AJ trying to bomb video Nick in the shower. Can you imagine that on twitter? "Nick showering BOMB!" Bahaha! I'd watch it over and over. I also loved the paragraph of Nick going on about the different kinds of cake he loved, and how he ate three pieces of cake, then went for a jog annnnd stopped for more cake. Amazing.
