Ergh that was so heartbreaking! When Nick was talking to Brian I just wanted to scream, lol. I feel so awful for him, he has no idea... gah! And Leslie, clearly she's mortified that Brian's read her most personal thoughts. Gah, I really hate Leighanne. That's so hypocritical because I'm all "oh poor Nick.." but gawd she is irritating. Yeah, I understand her desire not to lose someone who's been in her life for such a long time, but I don't think that he's worth it honestly. Not to say that Brian's bad or anything, but she could probably end up finding someone better for her....

Unsuspecting came on my iPod randomly on the bus this afternoon, and I thought "I sure hope when I get home Dani has updated" And you did! And it was amazing!! Poor Nick, oh God, poor Nick. He's so hurt and furious, and I can definitely understand why. And ergh, AJ pulling Brian away when he was going to tell Leslie that he loved her. Argh, the drama!! Man, Nick is going to kick the shit out of Brian LOL. I can't believe Leslie told Nick at such a time, when they were surrounded by everyone. At least they were outside on their own, but still. Nick is going to flip out when he goes inside. And Leighanne is going to have a field day with this, because of course she knew before hand, so she can be all "I totally knew blah blah" Oh man. Perhaps now that everything is out in the open (or very soon will be) Leslie and Brian can finally be together. That'll be so awkward though. Guh, the tension! This was so amazingly written and wonderful. Great job Dani! This is the best. story. ever. Dani, I'm so so sorry it's taken me this long to leave you a review. I read this on Saturday morning, but I was at the convention and didn't have much time to write out my thoughts. Plus I was sleep deprived lol.

So, I know I'm all rooting for Leslie and Brian, and I still am, but I really felt for Nick in this chapter. I can totally understand his feelings of looking like a joke and that kind of thing. Man, I was nearly crying while reading this, you did such a good job of showing that Nick is heartbroken, and you hate the fact that Leslie did that to him, but you don't hate her, because she didn't mean to, it just happened... again, this is a hard thing to do, and I never can do it well myself, so I totally praise you for making it seem as though no one is the "bad guy". I love this story. Love, love, love, love!! I think that in time, Nick will forgive Leslie and Brian, he just needs to understand what happened and look at things rather objectively, which he obviously can't do right now.

I know it's a complicated love story centering more on Brian and Leslie, but I've kinda neglected Nick through all this. This chapter was super good! I just read it over again, and I have to say that I adored it! I know you tihnk Leigh came off as a bit of a bitch, but I think it was toally neccecary for her to have acted this way. I mean she was bitchy enough to lie about a pregnancy, so of course she's going to act really snarky with him on the phone. Plus, Brian wasn't exactly honest with her, so I think she's allowed to bitch at him lol. The part where Leigh starts to laugh when Brian asks about their child was particularly well written. Whenever someone laughs when they should be upset has always kind of scared me, and I could feel that fear and confusion which Brian was also feeling through your writing. So kudos to you for accomplishing that. Also, I really loved the ending. We hadn't heard much about how Leslie was coping, so it was nice to bring her it for that last little bit and see that she and Brian are still connected, even though they haven't spoken or seen each other in quite some time. I LOVE this story! You know that already, but of course I have to tell you again. You're an amazing writer, and a totally awesome friend. I can't wait for your next update :) Keep up the good work!
