I've been writing stories forever and have plans to write a young-adults series someday. I am a communications major in school, majoring specifically in public relations. It's strange how an author can describe someone that they've created in their minds from the color of their hair to the size of their feet, but can't come up with anything interesting to say about themselves. Ha,ha. Anyway, I basically just wanted to thank anyone who is reading my work. I appreciate you taking time out of your lives to read something that I have written. I plan to finish one story at a time or else I probably won't finish anything. I have several other ideas. Illusions of Deceit is my first posted novel; however it won't be the last. I have to say, WOW. At one point, this chapter actually gave me chills. I have to say that I was experiencing a little bit of writer's block when it comes to the story that I'm writing right now, but I'm pretty sure you've cured that after reading this!

I've said this already, but your story is SO good. I love the emotion from all of the characters! I'm not a fan of cheating, but I, for one, am rooting for Brian and Leslie. I could be a little biased, however, being that I'm a Brian fan. ha.

Author's Response: Thanks so much Erin! You don't know how much I appreciate that. I'm not a fan of cheating either of course, but I'm glad you're rooting for Brian and Leslie. I'm biased too though cause I'm a Brian lover as well (obviously) lol But at the same time, I try and get the whole thing from all angles. I could have made Nick not so in love with Leslie, and could have made it so he didn't react so hard, but where's the fun in that? I like to make this stuff hard. I'll have another update soon!

I don't know how I missed this chapter. Something was telling my to click on your featured story link (Congratulations by the way!) and I did and here was this amazing writing sample. I was wondering how you'd write Brian finding out that the pregnancy was a sham. I really love this story! I can't wait for more.

I just started reading your story. I'm not very far through, but what I've read it good! I loved when AJ was thinking 'I stole his Frick'.

The thing with stories like this, when they start talking about the past, I don't know what the author made up and what's real. Does that make me a bad fan? Haha. Good story.
