Oh my nerve... I am having such a bad streak this week with reading stories and getting so caught up emotionally in them. I literally had to stop myself from clapping outloud once Nick made it to the platform with the lady.

AJ and the moose, my god I can totally picture him trying to pose with teh moose as if it were a tourist attraction on display. Placing his sunglasses on the moose, throwing up the peace sign. Nick sniffing the moose while, Baylee attempts to ride it. Howie taking the pictures but trying to not get to close lol.
Awe Mason disowned Kevin, PAWNED! Kevin needs a huge, some pills and possibly some hair dye, cause all this anger must have him going grey.

Damn Kev, drugs? That wasa complete shocker. For some reason I thought the plot would turn into a big jealously thing and envy of Nick, in his eyes, being a better parent for Baylee than him.
Though the irony of Kevin introducing AJ into drugs first, when Kevin was the one that knocked down AJ's door to prevent him from falling deeper in it and to seek help.
Hmmm... still trying to figure out how Nick bypassed Howie though

Wow... I don't know what I would do if I was Nick's position. I will admit I did chuckle at the idea of Claire pretending to be grandmother, but at the same time it is so sad. I mean how the hell do you not age, but your lover ages and every time you bring them around you have to explain that they are so and so relative? Great chapter once again, can't wait for me!
Author's Response: I'll admit the inspiration for Nick's lovers aging around him was inspired by the opening dream sequence in second Twilight novel, New Moon, by Stephenie Meyer, when Bella dreams she looks like her grandmother while Edward remains eternally 17. I felt like the idea needed to be explored more than it was, and that's what inspired Claire's aging in this story, and was part of the purpose for the revision from the original format HTSAL had developed in. :)

Yeah Pengi!! I was wondering what was going to happen with this story. The previous chapter was so sad. The suspense is killing me. I hope Nick finds Claire before he changes again.
