Setting the stage for lots of drama at this point...sexual tension is boiling over, Jack's in conflict with who he is and the girl who is just his type has magically appeared. I don't usually read AU and it was funny to me when Howie got into a bar fight...ha!

Daddy's a sherriff??? Oh boy! Love all of the little conflicts you create for Jack, they all slide in smoothly but fit perfectly in showing the difference between who he was programmer to be and who he inately is...I'll try to read more later.

Now Crystal is sucked into his world...and he's going to have to explain some things - like how he could just shoot someone like it's no thing.  Jack is also going through some things...lots happening here and it should get interesting.  A little piece of concrit...there is so much going on in this chapter that I found it a little hard to follow in first person.  I love the way you write Jack and his innermost thoughts, however, telling all of this from his point of view came out a little confusing for me.

Whoa!  Not what I expected here.  When I first started reading this chapter I was thinking "aww...Jack is really conflicted, seeing lots of emotion and doing some soul searching".  Him blowing Howie's brains out was NOT what I envisioned coming.
