Too bad, but expected, that Shan would be having panic attacks...since she is a medical person, I hope she talks to someone. Nick is very cute playing housedad! I can't wait for more...it is obvious that they both feel the same way but are both too scared to say anything.

Author's Response: I would love to see Nick play house Dad, after watching house of Carters I think it would be easier on him to look after a five year old! They are both too scared about being hurt, it\'s going to take them a long time to let their gaurd down again.

Ahhhh...what an amazingly frustrating chapter.  So close...yet so far.  I totally understand why, but I am still frustrated that they can't just admit their feelings!!!

I love Nick and the ice cream...hilarious, reminds me of how we (as in gals) are when it comes to this stuff.  I love that he recognized the bond between the other couple and longed for that.  I also love that he is wanting to put his daughter's needs first.

BUT...I want them to be together...ugh!

Update soon!  Great chapter!



Author's Response: Thanks I do try to keep you guys guessing! I know its very frustrating, it\'s frustrating for me to write! I thought the ice cream idea was what was needed. Originally it was just going to be a Nick and AJ scene but I incorperated Rachel in as well just to give it the more motherly depth. Also easier to show how Nick realises that he wants that. \r\n\r\nI should be updating either tomorrow or sometime over the weekend.\r\n\r\nThanks for posting \r\n

I was first going to say "yay, another update" but now that I am at the end of this chapter, I am saying AHHHHH!  Now you really need to update soon. 

Nothing in this chapter is what I expected...I didn't expect her to be willing to tell him how she felt and I sure didn't expect to see him mugging down with another girl.

OK...even though my gun is sitting next to me, I felt no reason to load it after this chapter.  I love the exchange between her and her mother...very tender moment. I love what he said at the end about waiting for her and all that, hopefully she won't screw it up, but I have a feeling she will...ugh ugh.
