Quinn Mason is embarking on a new job in a new city with a new outlook on life and dating. What she never expected was to meet a man that would completely catch her off guard. Will Quinn be able to keep it "casual"?

Author's Response: Oh yeah, he is going through a lot, glad you picked up on that...we have a few things going on here; Nick is dealing with his own anxiety about his relationship with Quinn for the first time, a lot of his issues has fallen by the wayside since he has been so focused on Quinn, but Nick is a mess to with a whole suitcase full of baggage. Then, we have him called out by fans and he admits Quinn is his girlfriend for the first time, which is huge. Then, we know he hates Jake...and Jake is about to be in his face and because of the fact that Quinn simply went someplace with him in a group with other friends, there is potential to destroy everything he has worked so hard to create...and that is only what is going on with Nick in this chapter! It took forever to get this chapter out...there's just so much to stay! Nick needed to go "home"...which is ironic after everything that Quinn's house is home, or, Quinn is home. Brian is a jerk, but he is kind of the antagonist on a lot of this so we need him, he serves a purpose, just like Jake! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
great update. gosh that was intense. I dont think I would even look at jake again after all that. bah.
just a word of advice or maybe its really just me but when you write really long sections like the one at the beginning sorta it might help to split it into two smaller paragraphs to be easier to read cause sometimes I just skip over it.
but again might just be me. otherwise great job. cant wait for more.

LOL...I have been battling long paragraphs my entire life, so it's funny that you mentioned it! Once I get on a roll, it's hard for me to stop, and hard for me to seperate events. As a writer, this is definitely one of my weaknesses and I am working on it! But, please try to read it, even if it is a million miles long, I wouldn't want you to miss anything and often times, something major is hidden in a paragraph like that!
It was intense to write, when I got going on the argument, I don't think I looked away from my screen until I was finished, and then I got to the end and I was like "how am I suppose to end this?" I think Quinn finally was able to see the impact Jake was having on Nick and is starting to understand that her continued interaction is not only hard on Nick and her relationship with him, but unhealthy in general (thanks to Riley).

Author's Response: lol...poor Morgan is reducing herself to cheerleader level! Although I was a rah-rah myself, lol. Ahsley is the one that found Bay in the mall, that Nick asked out. They seem to be getting along swimmingly! haha. Anyways, thanks for reading and leaving me feedback!
