LOL at Tim still going on about his birthday and the birthday cake, that cracked me up! Also, I agree that he'll never see a prison and more likely a mental institution :)
I'm so glad they are all safe now, but poor Nick, will he make it? Will he have suffered too much damage to make a full recovery? I don't think any of them will fully get over something like that!
And at least I'll be here to read your next chapter as no cruise for me either :( Although I can't wait to see everyone's pictures and reviews of the cruise :)
Looking forward for more, but sad there's not much left to go!
Author's Response: I had to get one more birthday mention in there! I'm writing the next chapter now and it's been hard. I'm not very strong on the medical drama side, I hope I can do it justice without everyone going into Nick's room and bursting into song! LOL It's kind of sad I don't plan on reading any reviews or looking at any cruise pics or videos, huh? Bitter much, Mare? I couldn't do it the last two years either. Ah well, that's life! I do hope everyone who goes has a great time except for all the people who have done nothing but complain, I'm sure they'll hate it like they are hoping too! lmao
I've already cried once today watching Glee, and now I have tears again over this chapter :(
I feel so sorry for all of them, but especially Nick. Imagine that, hearing people around you but being unable to respond. And the fact that he's feeling like he's slipping away, it's just so heartbreaking :(
Can't wait for more, hopefully some crazy BSB fan will get into the hospital and do some damage to Tim!!

Aww reading this chapter made me feel sorry for Tim. With the correct treatment he realised what he'd done was wrong. If only he'd had a normal family and treatment when he was young, he would've had a much better life!
I'm glad Kevin went to visit, obviously he's not going to forgive and forget, but at least he was able to understand that Tim wasn't all there when he did the things he did.
But what about Nick? Did he get better? Can't wait to find out!

First of all, congrats on finishing the story, I've loved every minute of it.
I'm so glad Nick didn't die. I know he's still not over it...none of them are really, but they will get there eventually together.
Poor Howie, I really felt sorry for him. Everyone relied on him and thought he was the strong one, but deep down he was suffering a hell of a lot. I'm glad he found his way back to being the lovely Howie we all love!
And I'm also glad that Nick ripped the letter up, best thing to do is put it all behind him and move on.

Really enjoyed that Steph, was nice to catch up with the old characters I'd loved so much in Forever Like This :) I liked that her album wasn't complete until she had a part of Nick on there.

Author's Response: Thanks Steph!! Howie admitted to Nick in the original short story that he had a one-night stand with a guy he met at a gay club in London, so no, Nick wasn't his first. As far as who had it first, good question! I'm glad you're enjoying it!!
Oh yes, I'd forgot about Howie being with a man before!
When Nick cut his finger I thought maybe he'd cut it deeper and have to go and get stitches or something which would require a blood test, like maybe the cut becoming infected. Now I'm wondering if Lauren had it first? Can't wait to see!

Aw poor Howie :( I know Nick has every right to be angry, but what if he gave it to Howie and not the other way around. I have all these ideas on who gave it to who, but which one will be the right guess I wonder?
