While Nick struggles to deal with what happened on the cruise, Howie’s indiscretions lead to dire consequences.I love that in a crisis the first person to call is Kevin, he is so calm and collected. I'm glad they are all coming, but I just hope Howie will be ok and they can all leave the hospital.
Can't wait for more!

I can understand that he's worried about it all going so well and his world will be turned upside down again. It will be just his luck. But he's got people around who love and will be there for him, even Nick won't be able to hide his feelings from everyone forever :)

That chapter was great, and I really wanted them to end up in bed together! And I'm not even into slash lol, but this story is so believable and their relationship so genuine and I do love a good love story.

Howie was doing the right thing by giving Nick space and not moving too fast as it's all so new to him having these feelings. I think he knows he's bi-sexual now, but is more worried about what other people will think of this.
Poor Howie though, just when things are looking up for him (he actually kissed Nick!) he gets ill again. Although I did laugh at Nick Plague lol.
Hopefully it's just a viral thing and he gets better soon. Looking forward to more :)

I actually laughed at Leigh saying Nick had busted Howie's butt, if only she knew!
She will miss the boys, I know I'd miss my kids if I didn't see them for 2 months :(

Thank god it's reversible, I just hope that's the case for Howie.
The fluid draining reminds me a bit of when my husband was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy. His stomach was bloated and he was really short of breath. In the hospital he was given some intravenous drug which made him fill 18 bottles of all the fluid that had built up in his stomach and chest :(

Author's Response: I knew pretty early on that I was going to kill Howie, but actually writing it was awful. I have written so many sad stories, but the end of this one really did get to me. :( It just felt like it needed to be a tragedy, though. Thanks for the compliment!

As much as I loved Nick and Howie together, I always kinda wanted him to end up with Lauren because I love them together in real life. I'd like to think they worked things out.
