I feel so bad for where Nick is at with all of the emotional fall out of the accident and what's going on. Aw, they didn't get to take him back? Poor Nick. Poor Kevin too, he's so upset about it all, somehow I think if anything like this happened for real, Kevin would react the same as you are writing him. Good job, I can't wait to read more.

HOLY CRAP! Okay besides, the sequel to Ground Zero, I've been waiting/hoping for an update on this one forever! So when I saw it tonight, I swear to God I was almost too excited to read it. lmao Thank you so much for updating and I'm glad to know that Nick made it through the shootings. It was nice to have more of an insight into what happened in there, but I'm a little scared about what he had to go through to get the markers.
Anyway I can't wait to read more of this one and especially to find out what's happening in present time, who their captors are, and what happened to Nick and Hannah upstairs. Thank you so much for the update Chaos, made my night. lol

Oh My FREAKING GOD!!! Whaaaaat? I cannot believe I am reading the next chapter to Yesterday's Blue Skies on 3/6/11. Like never thought this would happen. It's funny too because when stories go on break, you usually have to read back a little bit to remember what happened, but this one, totally remembered everything. So awesome, keep it up because I'm really excited. : D

I can't believe that you remembered everything, that makes me so happy :) Although now I'm thinking that maybe I should have added a little summary at the beginning of the chapter because everybody else has probably forgotten most of the story lol I sent the chapter to mare and mersey with a summary but forgot to do it here... I guess people will just have to go back if they don't remember things and when they do it I hope they feel free to point out my grammar mistakes because I keep finding them in every chapter lol

No, but seriously I hope you keep this coming. I'm loving this reconciliation with Nick and AJ, and how emotional it's been. It's amazing to see just how affected the others were by his leaving, that instead of drawing them together, it drove them apart. Needless to say, I can't wait for more!

YAY they know where they are now, I love the AJ and Nick part of this story too. Really, only one more chapter?? You could extend this as long as you want you know for... suspenseful intrigue, or writing practice, OR for your reader's pure enjoyment of this story and all it's characters... just puttin' that out there. lmao j/k
There is a lot of wrap up left, I mean besides saving the boys, there's all the shit Arianna did to their family, like killing their mom, I mean Nick is still the only one that knows about that. Don't let a lack of feedback discourage you Mare, you're an amazing storyteller with some really creative ideas, and keep in mind that there might be some people just seeing this and starting the series for the first time now, they need to catch up.lol Your writing is truly loved in the fanfic world Mare, so don't get down on yourself, your readers really appreciate your hard work, trust me. ; )

Yes, literally reader's enjoyment as in one reader, sometimes two if i'm having a good day lol I am so happy you don't want this story to end Sam, but honestly I should have never even started it. I should have ended it with Protect and Serve. No worries, all the loose ends will tie up by the end. I'm still not sure if it'll all end in one chapter. It might be a very long chapter 40 or it will go one more after that. Reguardless, I'll finish the damn thing! I promise! Or you can send Ariana after me! LOL

Uh no, thank you Mare...for FINALLY updating this! Yay!!! I can not even begin to say what I was thinking when I opened the e-mail you sent out. I was like, "Wait it's too early for another update of 'what Lurks' ...wait OMG SCARS???!!!" lmao
One of my biggest pet-peeves is starting a really amazing story and then finding that it's not finished. I know things had changed for you after Kevin left, so I was bummed but totally understood. So again thank you for taking a look at this one again, I know I appreciate. About the chapter, hopefully Howie can finally see what is actually going on, hopefully AJ won't go up in flames, and Kevin gets away to help Patty. But that leaves one thing, Where oh where is Nicky? hmmm.

Okay, so the only problem with you being ahead of schedule, means that I have to wait longer for the next chapter unless you're ahead of schedule for that one as well. lmao And especially with this actually scary cliffhanger that you left...what the hell girl? lol To be in Nick's situation probably badly injured with the lighter fluid aspect, I'd be pissing myself.
What I really like about this chapter, is that I could actually feel, as I was reading, how tense the whole situation is. I could see the brothers racing down the road, I could see Howie's anger and fear on the phone, etc. It was really good.

Thanks so much for the compliment, Sam. I am always worrieed how the action sequences come off so i'm glad you were able to feel everything. I know I left it off with a really nasty cliffie lol but that's how this whole series has been so when I was trying to figure out a good cutting off point I had to go with the last scene. I'm hoping i'll get the next chapter up by Friday but it all depends on Lurks. Once I am done with chapter 15 (which I havent' started yet) then i'll move on to this one again. I promise you won't have to wait for too long. Like 3 years lol
Aww, it's so bittersweet. For real though, I do appreciate you coming back to this one and really putting in an effort to finish it for your readers, I think that's awesome. As far as the last chapter, I had a feeling that it was going to be Howie that would have to do the deed, as bad as this sounds, it just felt right that it ended that way.lol And AJ saves the day? I think fiction might be the only time that would actually happen, but it made for a good/sentimental action sequence. I heart BSB brotherly love. I'm also happy that we saw Nick and his father finally come together to understand each other. I was surprised about the graduation from the Academy twist, but he did basically figure out the Ariana stuff on his own, so it makes sense.
Call me an idiot but I didn't make the connection with the girls names until I read "Sel". I was thinking, aw she gave a shout out to Sel, I wonder if I'll see my name in here...yeah skipped over it. lmao I'm an idiot. Maybe I'm quick to assume, but I'm just going to say Samantha was me and thanks for the shout out. I'm not a Howie fan, but I have always liked Seattle. lmao Thanks again Mare, can't wait for current and future stories to come!

LOL aww poor Howie, Well at least I didn't make you the psycho Howie wife like I did to poor Mersey. I can't even tell you how close I came to breaking my own rule about not killing the BSB because I almost made Ariana shoot Howie instead and I thought about letting him die. (sorry Howie) but then I figured if anyone deserved to kill her, it would be him. I'm glad I went that way with it. I always knew I was going to end it the same way I started it with them all around her grave and I was also pretty sure I was going to have Nick do something in civil service. I just kept going back and forth between fireman and detective. Thanks for reading and supporting this story for such a long time! I promise I won't leave any other stories hanging for quite as long! Even though updates miught not always be as frequent as they are right now. :O)
