Summary:

The week before Millennium is released, the Backstreet Boys are on top of the world. They can sense their lives are never going to be the same, but unfortunately, they didn't intend for it to happen quite the way it did. Whaaaaat? lmao Sci-fi eh? I LOVE science fiction stuff with the boys, hate fantasy (unless really well done) but love sci-fi. I think I have a pretty good idea of what happened, especially with talks of planes and portals and all that, but I had to read it a second time to really get it. It looks like a certain author won't be supporting a Donald Trump 2012 bid to run for office though. lmao

I'm really interested to know why this world is the way it is, based on what the boys know so far. Why they're (who?) bombing, why there's no young people, where the others are, what they have to be afraid of. Exciting stuff. I liked when they locked the door at the end it reminded me of 'I Am Legend', when he's locking down for the night which all but scared the crap out of me.lol That and the way you wrote Nick, was really clearly like how a traumatized child would react. Needless to say...I'm excited!

lmao yes scifi! I am getting a kick out of everyone's reaction that. I'm scared, we shall see what happens. I do have to say I wrote that about Trump BEFORE he said anything! So I am predicting the end of the world. It's been fun trying to concoct a good storyline for what the hell is happening. I hope as it unfolds it's believable. I am realy trying a boatload of new things with this story, we shall see what happens! I have neevr seen I AM Legend. I know i'm a suspense writer but I have seen only a handful of scary movies. LOL Thanks Sam! Glad Nick came off traumatized. :O) I'm so mean to him.

Uh-oh, we're going to be going back and forth in this one I see. Good side about that is we get a little bit of normalcy in between all the craziness, bad thing is we have to wait an extra chapter to get answers to the suspenseful/crazy stuff before. lol Can't wait till Saturday!

I hate you so much right now. lol Just when I thought, OMG Clara and Randy, they're going to reconnect with Howie and Nick, you go and throw this wrench in the works. So mad... lol I'm just so happy to have some suspenseful stuff back on here, the last two weeks it's been nothing but romances. Missed this one, can't wait for the next chapter!

I was worried about you. You were hot and heavy with this one for like three weeks, and then all of a sudden nothing for like ever! lol Seriously of all of your stories I think this one is the most excited I've been when waiting for updates.

However this chapter seemed like a lot of foreshadowing going on, and I don't know if I like that, I'm scurred. lol I hope to see you Wednesday, but if not, hopefully soon regardless. Thanks Mare!

YAY! I was hoping since I saw you pop into TDS, I would see you update on here too. I'm not in school anymore, but I hate the end of the year schedule. lol
Missed this story a ton, especially with all these romances everywhere. This is probably one of three reasons why I come on here anymore.

Ugh, these chapters are getting harder to get through only because I so badly want the action to start, but looks like that will happen from now on. Can't wait to see what the hell's going on! Thanks for the update Mare, and I know I didn't do it last time, but LOVED the last chapter. Made me really feel for them, esp. Nick wanting to go so Howie could stay...so sad.

Yay, I love that you're updating this so regularly now, I appreciate it. It's a nice thing to look forward to at the end of a busy week. I kind of like how you're keeping the story in one time now, just because the "current" time period was so stressful, with Nick being sick and the guys all separated, it's nice to get some background too.

I like Nick being the quiet/freaked out one in all of this. They're all kind of not acting like themselves which makes it seem like there is really something out of whack here. Thanks again for the update, hope you have a good week and are enjoying your time off for summer!

Is it bad that I could care less about future AJ? lol I'm just sitting here going, "WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO MEET AGAIN!!!" lol You're killing me with that, seriously. I'm loving that we're back in the present again too, or the future or whatever, but it still feels like there's so much to catch up on at the same time. Aww, that's okay Sam. Honestly, i'd probably fee the same way if I was reading it. LOL I have to move forward before I go backward again though, if that makes any sense? To fully understand what happened the Museum of Art, AJ needs to start telling that story as a memory in the future. We are going back to the present after AJ's, I promise! And AJ's won't really be that long so feel free to do what I probably would do. Skim through but don't skip the dialogue! lmao I suck as a writer telling my readers to skim! Dammit!! Don't you ever get tired of writing mean cliffies? lol j/k. I can't tell which time period I like reading about more, they're both so intense and because of your cliffies both side leave me wanting more. This chapter managed to kind of answer questions from the last chapter too though, so that's good.

As scary as it is not knowing what these people are going to do to Nick when they come up on him, I kind of really want that to happen just so we can know where these evil canadians are taking all of the young people and what's going on with that part of the story. Thanks for the updates Mare and I can't wait for more!

Well first of all it's AJ, so that's completely expected, and if I had been in the same circumstances I would have probably been talking the same way. lol It's an interesting twist that they would be taking on some of the characteristics that their AU deadselves had, but who knows what can happen when you fall through a rip in the universe. It would be interesting to know what all of them were like in the different world too, I hope that all comes out at some point.

I've also thought about the Nick thing that he might see himself there, or if the evil Canadians will recognize new Nick as someone they've already captured and taken god knows where. I hope we get another by the weekend, this middle week one was a surprise, Lovin' this story. Found myself going through Mizpah series the other day too. : )

Grrr. I'm trying to figure out timing here and it's hard. I'm trying to figure out if when we last left Kevin, Brian, and AJ if they came upon Clara and Randy's AFTER this whole van escapade, or if they got there right before this. I'm hoping for right before so that they can have a grand old meeting soon!!!

Poor Nickolas too, not a good time at all. I don't know where the hell they think they're going to get a doctor from, but I hope they do. Yay, Charlie lives! lol This should be interesting. Thanks for the update amidst the hurricane too, that's dedication Mare! haha

Ahhhhh! The plot thickens!! Holy cow, what a mission to have, I knew there was bound to be some loophole with two Nick's being in the same place at once. Really interesting twist though, that's crazy.

As for long vs. short chapters, I really enjoy the long ones, and this to me wasn't even that long, I tend to get more frustrated with shorter chapters...but that's just me. YAY they're all back together again! Thanks for the update Mare.
