Well, I'm from New Jersey. I work in fast food and I love pineapple pizza, Harry Potter, traveling, Disney, one direction, sailor moon and star wars. I like going to the beach and writing/reading fanfiction....plus going to lots of concerts. I'm a huge Weird Al fan as well. I've been writing since about 1999. Started off on Fanfiction.net, but made my way to AC after taking a few years off. Joined Absolute Chaos in 2009 and have been here ever since! I like to read just about everything and am open to writing almost every genre. Nick is featured the most in my work but I have something for everyone. I'm also open to co write or toss around ideas and beta read, so hit me up on yahoo messenger or shoot me an email. The time has come but you know that it’s not too late...It was interesting to see him watching himself be that carefree kid... The kid who just wanted to please everyone. I think that's really how things were honestly judging by Nicks book and what we've seen and or heard as fans. Grace is right it's kind of messed up how they put that on him like that. Great chapter Rose. Sorry for the late review, apparently I am not getting emails when my stories are updated.
Author's Response: It was interesting to write it too. As I was watching the old videos you could tell Nick had been at this for a few years (cause I think he started at 8 if I remember right), and you could tell he really loved performing. I reread Denise's book, Nick's, and that old school bio a bunch so I could try and put together a version of what happened back then. I really do think his mom put that much pressure on him and it's not right. Thanks Tracy!
I never really thought about the 100 hour tour footage like that before or the MTV Diary either. I had no clue back then that anything was going on with the guys because I didn't talk online with other fans. So for me the whole AJ going to rehab thing and Kevin leaving was a huge shock that I never saw coming. I sometimes wonder what being on forum back then was like, all the rumors etc. Cause I can tell now there was some tension but back then I didn't have a clue.I feel like this is very accurate. Loved

Author's Response: Rewatching old footage made me realized they used a LOT of the same stuff for different specials, the vhs, etc. It made me wonder if the reason that happened was because there was just so much that had to be edited out. Given AJ's problems and the tense feelings in the group, it made sense to me. I wasn't on the forums then so I wonder too. Looking back there were a lot of signs we missed. Thanks Tracy!
I love Brian to death but I wanted to slap him and AJ especially for this scene right here. Poor Nick. I mean it's bad enough your best friend drifted away and now he is talking to you like this. I really
did feel bad for him though. I am also happy he got to see the rest of the conversation between the guys and find out how they felt because I think that is just what Nick needed to hear. Kevin and Howie always seemed the most supportive of him and I feel like that is true in real life as well. Great chapter again Rose. Hope for another update again soon.

I really love this chapter because of the Nick, Kevin and Kristin scene. It was so adorable and cute until the paparazzi came. I am glad that Kevin helped him through that and happy to see another chapter as well. Looking forward to the next one, because I think you pretty much
hhit the nail on the head about Nick and Kevin relationship. Kevin was the one who always believed in him and I feel that is very realistic.
Author's Response: There were a few interviews around the Never Gone era with Kevin getting protective. One in protective was Kevin talking about how he told Paris to leave his lil brother alone before he puts her shit out there. (Basically). And the paparazzi photos from this incident show Nick being taken care of by Kevin. Poor guy. I do feel Kevin's always been the one to believe in all five of them - AJ and Nick in particular. I am glad Howie was there for him, it seems like that in real life too especially after watching the reality show. I think it's
good he sees the past and I hope he doesn't do anything stupid like wish he didn't join the group. I'm afraid to find out what the other guys would be like if there was no BSB. Great chapter Rose :)
Author's Response: Holy hell I suck for failing to reply! I had no clue I had reviews I never replied to. I feel like now thanks to IHNC I'm gonna write a Howie/Nick bromance story someday. It was so sad to see Kevin like that :( I hope that Nick sees he is making a mistake in wanting to change his past. I love what you're doing with this story. Can't wait for more.
Author's Response: Hopefully Nick can see things. Right now he's too blinded by his desire to leave his current life. We'll see what comes with visions of the other Boys without him. SO SO SO Sorry about the late reply!
Wow. It's kind of crazy to see nick seeing how he would have been had he chosen the MMC over BSB. I laughed at Timberlake not getting in too, that was a awesome reference to make. It was also interesting that despite his choices his family was still estranged. I think that's how it would have been
asa sell, because of Nicks mother being so money hungry. I was a bit surprised that Leslie was still dead too. I can't wait for the next chapter because I hope Nicks realizing that BSB is the path he should be on. Even though he was happy here doesn't mean he will be forever. Great chapter.
Author's Response: LOL I couldn't help myself. If Nick got in then someone else gets kicked so why not Justin? I do think because of how Jane is, that family would've been estranged either way. As for Leslie, remember this takes place in 2006. So actually in this AU, she dies six years sooner than in the world Nick knows. She still would've been bipolar and Jane might've still put the same pressure on the same failed career. But without Nick it could've happened quicker.
Now that I have read this twice and cried both times, I can write a proper review. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you had Grace show him Lauren and what his life could be like. That he saw that glimmer
of hope in the darkness, and he could have a happy life. I think that was a great way to cement his choice to go back. It was just such a beautiful scene.
The end part got to me too with Kevin calling him. Sad to see this story is ending because it's been so good.
Author's Response: Whoa, I made you cry? I haven't heard that in awhile! (I missed thirsting for tears as a writer LOL) I knew from the beginning Grace was going to show him Lauren, but even without that spark, he would've chosen to go back. He had to have the others be okay. That was the only way he'd know even if it meant sacrificing his own happiness. Showing him Lauren was more "look, this is what you can have with that choice, if you work for it". Thanks Tracy!
This was so sweet with him and Brian. I totally agree with the fact about Leslie and I feel horrible that he feels it's his fault. Nobody should ever feel that way.
I can't wait to see if your predictions about Nick having twins are true or not. It would be interesting to see. Great chapter.
Author's Response: I knew he'd go to Brian with this story from the get go too. Who else is that connected in his faith to even believe Nick? I do get the vibe Nick did blame himself for awhile and no one should. LOL as for the twins, well Nick's siblings are twins so maybe? It's actually a quirk of mine. I tend to have twins somewhere, somehow in my stories. (Brian had twin girls in SFTU, AJ had twin girls in RMTW, etc.)
*claps* loved that you included Nicks letter to Brian. I think Kevin leaving did spark something in all of the guys and especially Nick, and along with AJ took it the worst. You told this story in such a way that sometimes I wonder if you do roam around in Nicks brain sometimes. Haha. Loved this story and you already know I'm looking forward to the new one.
Author's Response: Thanks! I debated posting the letter in it's complete form but it seemed a waste not to LOL. Kevin's leaving changed the group and I don't mean musically. I loved the group without him but now that he's back you can see in hindsight the void he left and how it got to the other four. LMAO if I roamed in Nick's brain I'd be a lot scarier in my own brain! Thanks for sticking with me Tracy, it means a lot.

I like that even though AJ did that Brian still tried to help him, I could really feel the brotherly bond they share in this chapter.
I never really read AJ stories and this is an AJ/Brian one from the looks of it. Not many write this conbo but I enjoy it even though it's short. Sometimes you do not need a long chapter to explain things and I am really enjoying this story. Keep up the good work!
