--Landon almost blew himself up when he tried to shove a lit sparkler up his nose. Mom got a big burn on her hand from yanking it away from him.-- OMG! My fave part! Gotta luvs the Landon... total Carter move!
--"No, boobs are stupid."-- i totally agree!

---"Well, Robbie watched me surf and he said that the best female surfers have flat chests."
"That's stupid," I said.
Peyton lowered her leg.
"No, boobs are stupid."
I laughed. "Agreed. So what did you say to him?"
Peyton looked flustered. "What do you say to that? I didn't know whether he was calling me flat or too boob-y or--" --seriously, wth do you say to that? lmao

"How was it?" I asked.

Peyton smiled. "Nice. He had just downed a Sunny Delight and it tasted very..." she paused and tilted her head. "citrus-y."-- "citrus-y" luved it!
"I'll give you some advice Pey," I said. "If a guy kisses you, I wouldn't worry too much about what he says about your boobs." I paused. "But don't let him touch them."

Her eyes widened. "Ew, gross!"

We both got up and continued to pack. I smiled. I hoped Peyton would think that was gross for at least a few more years.

Because after that, it all started to become confusing.-- yeah, confusing...

Author's Response: I love Landon too...the boy should have yellow caution tape wrapped around him at all imes. :) I love how Peyton ends a lot of words in -y...reminds me of her daddy :)

--"You ate while she was puking?" I asked.
"Well, I ate as much as I could."-- Gosh, i luvs my Nicky :)

--"I plan on living until at least two hundred," he declared. I laughed through my sniffles.-- hehehehe, would luv to see Nick at 200 years old!

--Dad smiled. "I used to worry about that," he admitted. "But she's always told me that home isn't a static place. It's wherever the ones you love are."-- So true. I luv it.

-- I was just about ready to head back towards my guitarist when the last hand I grabbed wouldn't let go.-- Oh crap, i'm smelling a big ol' heapin' pile o' trouble!

--"I will never be too busy for you," I promised.-- i just wish Kay had enough faith to see this is true

--Pey waved a hand in front of her nose. "All you need is a comb."-- I share those sentiments, Ms. Pey :)

"You look amazing," he kept saying. "And you smell really good."

"It's the hair produts," Pey said, mimicking me from earlier. I shot her a look.-- Oh, Pey... :)

--It was a far cry from how he usually spent his days -- basketball shorts, t-shirts with holes in them, and underwear that probably hadn't been washed for years (okay, that might be an exaggeration).-- hehehehe

--Woohoo! Bout time Shelby, Mason, & Brenna made an appearance! :)

--The third highlight came while I was crying. Trevor reached over and brushed a tear from my cheek. I turned to look at him and he kissed me. It wasn't a long kiss, but it was nice.-- aw, Trevor is so sweet... really gotta get him away from that soul-killing family of his.

--"If we stand far enough away," Noah whispered to Trevor and me. "we can pretend that we're not with them."

I laughed. "One look at us and everyone knows we're Carters, NoNo."-- So true, NoNo, you'd be spotted a mile away :)

--Noah sighed, but not for long. He broke into a smile as we neared Kay.-- Kay so needs to open her eyes and give my lil NoNo a shot... seriously....

--"Kay's dress is puke!" Landon declared as mom and dad talked to Baylee and Claudia.-- Gotta luv Landon!

---Again, luv Brenna & Landon together :)

As if on cue, Peyton, Noah, Trevor, and I all took three huge steps away.

"I don't know them, do you?" Peyton asked. Noah and I shook our heads.

"Not at all."-- Family, can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em! (except for Trevor's... he can definately live without them!)

--"I like your family," he said with a smile. I laughed.

"We're kind of a package deal," I explained. His smile widened.

"I like that."

And I liked that he liked that. Between my crazy little brother, Peyton who was already swapping her flats for sneakers, and Noah who seemed in a daze after talking to Kay, we were a mess. And the evening was still young.

I had a feeling that it was going to be an interesting night.-- Oh, BooBoo, I'm guessing you have no idea of just how interesting it's gonna be...

Author's Response: lol at everyone loving Landon and Brenna. The series will be done long before these two turn sixteen :) but their puke conversatin was classic. I love that all the kids are so individualized but they all get along so well together. I'm so proud of my Carters!

"You shoved my purple Play-doh up your nose!"

We both started to laugh.

"I hate you."

--"It smells like fries in here," I said. Noah grinned.

"I think I dropped some under my bed like three months ago."

I jumped up. "GROSS!"-- Boys!

Author's Response: I just wish story Nick could have had such a good relationship with ALL his siblings. I can't see Noah or Brooke going crazy like Mr. Aaron, can you?

--"Well, you better save all your good stuff for me to record," I said. He laughed.
"If you're lucky, I will. But you can't call me NoNo in public," he warned. I stepped back and smiled up at him.
"I will never stop calling you NoNo," I said. His eyes sparkled goodnaturedly.-- hehehe, god, i luvs the bro/sis moments. I would hope that she'd never stop calling him NoNo.

--"Be careful," mom said. Dad's arms went around her.
"I will. Don't take any baths while I'm gone."
Mom's eyes sparkled. "Will you ever let me live that down?"
Dad grinned. "Never."-- OMG, the bath reference. too frickin' funny

--"Have fun!" mom called.
"Remind everyone your amazing brother wrote Chaotic!" Noah called.
"Take pictures of anything weird!" Peyton yelled.-- Luvs it, family rocks. Pey is insane!

--"Getting on the bus the first time is the hardest part," he reminded me.
"But it doesn't get any easier," I complained. Dad smiled softly.
"On the count of three. One...two..."
On three we both ran up the steps. I ran over to the couch and pressed my face to the window. I cranked it open.-- lmao @ the two of them running up the stairs

--Landon (with mom following after him) ran alongside it.
"I wanna go!" he screamed. "I wanna GO!"
Mom finally ended up tackling him. The bus rounded the corner and Landon's screams faded away.-- Aw, poor lil Landon is gonna miss his BooBoo :(

--"You ready?" dad asked. "The venues are going to get bigger. The crowds will be louder," he warned.
A thousand excited butterflies came to life in my stomach. My homesickness gave way to my ingrained desire to perform. I closed my eyes and smiled.
"I'm ready," I said breathlessly.
"Bring it on."-- My BooBoo is destined to be a MEGA-star.

Author's Response: Oh, I had to put a bath reference in there. Who would save Livvy with Nick away? :) And LoL @ Landon. He WILL miss Brooke, but more than likely the little booger just wanted to be on the big bus and see what trouble he could get into :)
