After reading Julie's review, I have to throw it out there that at first I thought it was Tim Richardson, too! It fit, until he was all kidnapping Backstreet Boys and stuff.

Author's Response:

LMAO yeah, maybe I should mention that as a disclaimer in my next chapter. Sorry, Tim! I forgot you existed! Well not really but I forgot your name was the same as my little creepy, lunatics!

LOL at Brian's boyband boyfriend! I'm back with my inappropriate responses to serious chapters. Enjoy! And, seriously, ditto to what Tracy and Julie already said.

Author's Response:

Hey, that's why I throw those lines in! To give you something to comment on. LMAO Thanks, Emily!

This chapter was SO SO good! great description of their injuries and their statuses. I love the way you manage to show their relationships with each other so subtly, but so strongly at the same time-- Like the scene with Nick telling Kevin it's not his fault. I got a little choked up. I wish I could do that half as well as you do!

Author's Response:

Thanks so much for saying that, Emily! I appreciate it. I added that scene with Nick and Kevin in at the very last minute so I'm glad it had the desired affect! :O)

Oh man. I have a feeling that once all the adrenaline wears off, Nick's going to be in a lot of trouble.....

Author's Response:

Could very well be. Maybe he can just sexy dance his way out of this! LOL thanks, Emily!

Yikes! Kevin being attacked by wolves certainly wasn't a scenario I was imagining here! Nice element of surprise there! That's what I think makes you such a great suspense writer. I can see myself writing something similar to this chapter, but then stopping with Kevin being stranded and hurt-- not facing the possibility of being attacked by wolves!

Author's Response: Well, sometimes you just need wolves, you know? Because things weren't quite dire enough lol Thanks, Emily!!

So now Howie's going to get eaten by wolves, too? Or is this the big grizzly bear?

Author's Response: You know, there just might be some kind of wolves take over the world conspiracy going on, perhaps. Besides why should Kevin be the only one to be eaten? I mean the woods are pretty big there's plenty of room for wolves to roam around. LOL If that even is a wolf and not just Howie's imagination. :OP

Well I looked at Jenna's review before I started writing this one, and I was totally going to tell you about how I LOL'd at "Nice of you to finally drop by." So, yeah, I loved that line, too. This had been one of my favorite chapters so far. Instead of feeling like I was watching a movie (which is about the best you can hope for when reading something like this, right?), I actually felt like I was WAS Kevin. Great job describing his situation.

Author's Response:

Thanks, Emily! I actually was afriad that line was going to be too cheesy lol I'm glad you both got a kick out of it and yay! So happy to hear you felt like you were Kevin! It's actually been one of my favorites too. This one and the one before it and a few coming up lol

"Crazy people always whistle." My dad's a whistler. Lol. Sounds about right. And like I said before, now that the adrenaline is wearing off, I fear Nick's in trouble.

Author's Response:

My dad was a whistler too! LOL yes, poor Nick! Thanks, Emily! :O)

Oh, how I LOVED the image of little Nick hiding behind Kevin as a human shield. I think that speaks volumes about their relationship. I don't like Nick falling asleep. I'm sure his body needs rest, but I'm worrying about the prospect of him not waking up.... Well, that's morbid isn't it? On a lighter note, I really liked the AA Milne at the beginning. Really fitting.

Author's Response: The thought of a tiny Nick hiding behind Kevin made me kind of giggly too, I love their relationship (obviously lol). And as far as Nick being sleepy, it does make sense to worry about that. I was so excited when I found that poem! I thought it was a perfect fit as well! Thanks for noticing that and thanks for the review, Emily! :O)

Of course you end it like that. Couldn't imagine it any other way. lol. Great look into Tim's psyche here. I can see how all of that happening to him at such a young age has made him stark-raving mad. And go Nick! Even if Tim does seem to somehow have you brainwashed just a little bit...

Author's Response: I have been doing good with the no real cliffies up until now, but like I told Tracy, this will be the first of a couple more or so-ish lol Yes, now we are getting why he might be a tad on the crazy side! Thanks, Emily!

I'd been wondering if there would be any follow-up from that girl at the store! And CREEPY that Tim looks like Brian!

Author's Response: *nods* well there ya go then! And yes to me he looks like a longer curly haired taller version of Brian and Nick mixed! lol Thanks, Emily.

I KNEW the wolves would be back! And I total squeed at the intro to his chapter when you announced that Kevin's back! I think I might have actually said "I love Kevin!" out loud. lol

Author's Response: Aww we do love us some Kevin, huh? LOL I'm always curious to know which guy people enjoy reading the most when I write stories like this one from multiple POVS where there's really no main character. And of course the wolves had to come back! Think a little rain is going to make them go away? Pfft! hehehe Thanks, Emily!

Don't make this another one of those 1000 ways to kill Nick Carter, okay? The description of how Nick was feeling was SO good! You went into way more detail than I imagine most writers (myself included) would, and that's what made it so great. I am REALLY worried for Nick. "Oozing" is not good.

Author's Response: No worries, that's one thing you don't have to worry about with me. LOL I'm glad you enjoyed my description. I really wanted to make it clear what he was feeling and that it wasn't constant pain but more of a weird sensation going on.Yup, oozing probably not a good thing! Thanks, Emily!

My favorite part of this chapter was definitely the movie soundtrack/orchestra analogies. I'm thinking a few readers may have to look up some of the terminology, but to me it was great! Very dramatic last two lines!

Author's Response: Aww thanks! I loved to be able to tie in some film composer music jargon! LOL At least I didn't do the Dun Dun Dunnnn like I kind of wanted to! hehe thanks, Emily!

Hmmm..... I'm of course hoping that the other guys will have found some way to be gone when Tim goes after them. And the pharmacist in me says, "Stop giving the man who is bleeding internally aspirin, Tim! Especially if you want him to be your living new brother!"

Author's Response: lmao I know, right? That's why I chose aspirin. I think the pharmacist in you will love the chapter I am in the process of writing now. :O) And no worries about the guys, I'm sure by the Tim gets there, they will have already been eaten! hehe Thanks, Emily!
