We're cousins, best friends, and both of us are Daddy's little girl. Being a daddy's girl has always been fun, but what happens when you grow up and the fairy tale ends?
I don't like this Jake character. Having the Lilly porn in his possession seems suspicious to me. Makes me think he knows Lilly is Reese's aunt. I don't know I'm waiting for more background to be revealed about his character.
I'm glad that Reese decided to go home, even though it wasn't her first choice. I don't like the fact that Reese uses Calleigh sort of like her own personal minion. That's so mean.
I hope Reese and AJ have a good talk because I don't think really understands the consequences of her decision and what a horrible outcome it could have had.
You ladies are just doing a fantastic job with this story. Being able to portray both sides of a parental/child relationship.
Can't wait for more :0)

Reese and Calleigh certainly have a strong bond, but Reese using her influence over her younger, more impressionable cousin is not a good thing for their relationship. I knew she would see the light eventually. It's not fair that she is in trouble because of something her cousin did, but I completely understand Jade's point. Lying leads you no where but trouble.
I hope this is a turning point for Calleigh, she shouldn't be a follower but a leader. I know Reese is her cousin and best friend but I think Reese takes her relationship with Calleigh for granted and she is really going to regret it.
I hope they find a way to get the closeness in their relationship back because of right now it seems like their relationship is going to suffer a major loss.
Ladies I'm hooked. Can't wait for the next update. :)

I think Jade is being tough on Calleigh cause she doesn't want the same situation happening to her daughter. This chapter has me a little lost. I can't plainly see that the 'talk' between AJ and Reese didn't go well at all. It's hard to get into the head of a teenager that is dead set on doing what they want no matter what.
I'm curious about what was is going on between Age and Aspen though. I didn't think they were having problems. I'm sure Reese's situation isn't making things any better.
Totally laughed out loud when Jade showed up at their house with Oreos. Kind of makes me want to walk to the Walgreens down the street from my house and get some. Darn you Jade.

I kind of feel bad for Leigh. She's young and impressionable, and that's why Nick is being so overprotective. But I understand he just wants her to make good decisions so she doesn't have to deal with the hassles of the consequences that come along with making the wrong decision.
I think he's kind of pushing the Reese thing a little too hard. He's making Leigh really confused, and I think it's gonna effect her and Reese's friendship. And it might even make her kind of pull away from him, because of the loyalty she feels is important in her friendship with Reese.
I hope Leigh has a talk with Reese to let her know how she's feeling and maybe even have a talk with Jade or her Aunt Aspen, so she can work out her confused feelings.

Finally the heavens have opened up and produced a miracle. It took a while but they have finally had the talk that they needed to have as a family.
I'm glad that Reese finally confided in her parents. It's best to be open and honest, saves the hassles of trying to hide things all the time.
I'm hoping that Aspen and AJ can figure out what's coming in between them. I know Reese doesn't make it better, but in the end there is definitely something going on.
I like seeing the mature side of Reese it's refreshing and a side I'd like to see more often.

Ok so I'm kind of shocked, and overly curious how Reese got pregnant, but didn't have sex. I mean I have a few scenarios in my head but I want to know for sure.
As for AJ and Aspen, their her parents they are gonna flip no matter what, and think that Reese lied to them. I don't know how this is going to go down but I hope that Aspen can be a little help, and that this brings them closer as a family instead of them falling apart. If Reese is definitely pregnant she is going to need her family, more than ever before.
As for Twig showing up, I was a little concerned at first that Jade would be upset. But I know she misses her sister and is willing to let bygones be bygones.
I think it would be great for the girls to go be with their Aunt Lilly over the summer, they can bond even more, and hopefully have a better bond with their Aunt and cousin Adam; but after the revelation of Reese, I don't know if Age and Red will let her out of their sight anytime soon.

I'm not shocked at all. After I reviewed I told you I had a couple ideas in my head. I was like dumbass doctor's office called the wrong person!
AJ's reaction to the news kind of surprised me. I figured he would want another baby too. But I guess when you argue about it and decided that you're not going to have anymore it can be hard to digest.
I hope the girls going to Lilly's for the summer is the best decision. I think both the girls parents could use some alone time.

I liked this chapter. A little relief from the drama.
I'm glad that Nick admitted that he was being too harsh on Reese. I'm glad that he finally feels that he can trust the girls to be together on there own.

I really feel bad for them. I mean I don't know what to say. They love each other so much. I think maybe they should try counseling or something. Talking to someone neutral usually helps better.

Awww shit! I told you Jade was gonna find the damn DVD in the basement. I knew it! I hope she has enough faith in her husband and her marriage to know that Nick wouldn't do that to her.
I hope Jade and baby Jasmine will be ok. It's very scary when you have to do an emergency c section because of bleeding. I hope everything turns out ok for everyone.

I want punch Reese in the chest so bad! She is such a fucking brat. I hate how mean she is to everyone. And no matter how mean she is to them they still love her. It's what families do, but Reese really needs to realize that she shouldn't take her family for granted.
I can't believe she said that to Lilly. And I hope Reese realizes her bad choices don't just effect her self. It's going be affected her Aunt Jade and Uncle Nick's relationship, and I hope she comes clean to them.

I love Calleigh so much! She is such a sweet and giving girl. I knew as soon as she heard about her Mom and Jasmine that she would be ready to hop on the next plane and come home.
I understand that Nick and Jade need to time to bond with Jasmine and make sure everything is okay and order before the kids come back home to start school in the fall. It can be very rough trying to deal with a sick baby when you have other responsibilities at home.
I hope the girls keep their goal of trying to grow up a little this summer. I'm sure it will help their parents out immensely.

Ok, so is it wrong that I'm kind of mad at Jade and Aspen? I mean I understand that Nick has a past with Lilly, but neither are giving him the benefit of the doubt.
First, Jade needs to talk to her husband instead of pushing him away when she needs him the most. Communication is key in a marriage, let alone a relationship.
Second, Aspen needs to mind her business. I know she's very protective of her sister, but it's the pot calling the kettle black. She needs to work on her own marriage, instead of making the situation worse.
Sorry but in this situation, I'm sticking with the guys. They are both treating them unfairly right now.

Author's Response: No it's not wrong at all to be mad at Jade and Aspen. They certainly aren't perfect. Jade is hurt and pushing Nick away probably seems like the easiest thing to do. Aspen will do anything to support her sister, even if sometimes it's not the best idea. She definitely needs to work on her marriage. ~R
And Lils swoops in a saves the day! I guess that's basically the big sister's job description. I swear I don't know where Red and Twig would be today if they didn't have Lilly Blue.

Ok so that totally didn't go they I thought it would in my head but like always Lilly was there to smooth things over.
I hope the grown ups finally realize that treating the girls like they're five years old isn't working and will only make them want to do what you don't want them to. Of course, having guidelines and limitations to follow by helps, it doesn't mean they should be sheltered from everything either.
